Shopko Optical

I had never been to a Shopko Optical, but was hoping for the best and was not disappointed. The staff were engaged in and actually enjoyed helping find the best frames for you. When it came to my insurance, Tera went above and beyond to find a solution to what was ultimately out of her control. I haven't received my glasses yet, but I know for sure if there is a problem, they will make it right because they care. This Iron Mountain location exhibits competence, friendliness and a great inventory of frames. How great is that?

Very nice, friendly employees! Blaze was my doctor today and he was awesome. He explained everything in detail in a way that I could understand. Everyone that works here is great, and seems like they all enjoy their job. Very helpful as well. 100/10 establishment

Greeted by Alex who was very helpful, informative and friendly. The Dr took the time to listen, explained very well and seemed to truly care about helping me to see correctly. They were both helpful over and above past experiences anywhere else.

When I called to question my bill; why i was told one thing when i made an appointment for a exam and then I was charged more AND ALSO ASKED WHY THEY SAY $94 EXAM AND THEN CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE $177.80 the woman ( whom said her name was Carol ) rudely said; have a nice day and hung up on me!!! Would never go there again or recommend them!! I'm also going to report them to my insurance, since instead of answering my concerns, they'd rather just rudely hang up on you! And get this; i made them a partial payment and they sent it back to me, wanting the whole amount paid at once! Like how many people in this world dont attempt to pay at all and i attempt to pay what i can each month and they wont even accept it.... LIKE I SAID; I WONT EVER RECOMMEND THEM OR GO THERE AGAIN!!!

Very pleasant experience. Dr. Blaze took his time on my exam and was very personable, explained things clearly. Informed me about prescription sunglasses, didn't know there was such a thing and I surely appreciated that. And Maddie was helpful looking up the prescription sunglasses info and trying to get me the best deal.

Had a digital exam today with Jessie! She was awesome and so knowledgeable. After the exam, I picked out glasses and she had everything wrapped up so quickly! Jessie is such a joy to work with! And Maddie was so friendly and helpful as well! Love my Shopko girls!

This year I had a had my first digital eye exam with Maddie. I've always had the traditional face to face. The exam was extremely thorough and was fun! The doctor was very friendly and engaging and went over all the test results and the health of my eyes. The exam was covered by my insurance. I have to say it was one of the best, most thorough, and fun eye exams I've ever had. Who would think of eye exams as fun? Kudos to Maddie on your outstanding excellence and attention to detail! Thank you Shopko for providing this service!
