I went to another location in Lowell for an exam but felt uncomfortable there. So headed to Eye Care One to purchase glasses. While I waited for my glasses to arrive, the Eye Care One was bought and became Lowell Eye Care.
My new glasses caused a headache and I called Lowell Eye Care for help. I thought it was going to be a hassle getting it my glasses corrected since my exam was at another location in Lowell and purchased through Eye Care One.
But thanks to the doctor and the great staff everything was corrected with a new exam and correct prescription, at no cost to me, I can see again without getting headaches.

I was treated with courtesy but not cold courtesy, the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. I was seen within a few minutes of when I arrived. Kelly was patient and helpful as we worked through almost all of the glasses frames! I was there a long time, but she never gave up trying. So often in doctors offices, I feel rushed once the Dr. comes into the exam room. I did not feel rushed at all, and the Dr. answered all my questions and concerns. It was a good visit!

The most displeasing staff I have ever suffered through dealing with since I started wearing glasses 30 years ago. Use to love the smeelink optical staff but whatever changed when they moved was an absolute disaster. If your choices are going here or going blind...... go blind.

When I went in for what I thought was a routine exam, I was charged with my medical and eye exam. I have a high deductible and the amount charged was $ 598.00. My vision exam was also charged. Not only did they receive monies from two insurances, I was also billed a separate fee of $90.00. If I had known that I would have been billed from a medical standpoint ( routine eye exam), I would have chosen a different provider. Very deceiving practice!
