Meijer Optical

I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but I cannot give them a good review. I LOVED the optometrist (who is no longer there). I picked out a pair of glasses that I loved on May 23. I could see perfectly and I loved the blue color. In less than one week, the color was coming off of the frame... I stopped in and I was told I could either get the same frame in purple or pick out a different frame. No picture or example of the purple. So I picked out a different frame that was the same shape but partially frameless. When they came in we swapped glasses. I wear progressive bifocals and the new glasses didn't work well with my laptop computer (my old glasses do). The doc came out and said they were too strong and to redo the RX. A few weeks later, I get the new lenses and the new manager puts them in the frames. They seem slightly better, but I still can't use them for my laptop. I have to wear my old glasses. BUT my first original pair worked!!! After 1-2 weeks, I was cleaning them and felt something sharp. The wire that holds the frame in was sticking out. I went in last week and the new manager said she couldn't do anything or they might fall apart. I'm done. I will never recommend this place. I've been wearing glasses over 50 years and have never had this many problems. I notice that neither frame was in the rack when I returned. I wonder if they use the ones on the rack when they order your lenses? Also the former manager (Kendra?) never measured anything. Follow up. I just got a new pair of glasses at Costco. I can see again!!! They measured where ny pupils are etc. I think my first problem was the progressive lens were not lined up right. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND Meijer optical shop.

I'm not quite sure if this is the correct place to leave a review but I wanted to share my amazing experience I had with Mrs.Kendra in the optical department.this is my second year working with her and I couldn't be happier. If there were 10 stars I would give them to her. She has amazing customer service Also she is on top of ordering products and they are here in just a few days. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I look forward to working with you again in the future.

Manager, Kendra was so unprofessional, not to mention rude. I had an eye exam, ordered 9 months of contacts. This has been 5 weeks ago. I have called and left messages, no answer. Everytime I stop in, they are closed. I just want to contacts that I paid for and will go elsewhere in the future.

I was very happy. I was just collecting glasses to read music with, but I also had the problem of losing the right lense of my regular glasses. Rather than replace just that lense, Kendra alerted me to a special. I ended up with a complete pair for $79.00. I could have spent around $1000 at some places. What special deal.

The new employee refuse to change the lens of my handicapped son's glasses. The shop did it before. I was willing to purchase 2 products. THANKS FOR NOTHING. Walmart Ludington help me.

They adjusted my glasses and gave me a new nose pieces for free!! Ramer didn't adjust them at allAnd they're closed on weekends I recommend Meijer!

The manager here is absolutely rude, mean & seems like a very miserable lady. The way she talked to her coworker was absolutely disgusting & unprofessional.

Kendra was pleasant and professional. I'm very pleased with my eye glasses.
