Traverse Vision

They ordered the wrong replacement glasses for me then tryed the gaslighting on me.. they insisted they were the identical glasses and they absolutely are not. Also they charge extra 70 to get your script for contacts if you are interested in contacts..

Just left my appointment a little over an hour ago and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Historically I've gone to another local place that I'm not naming, and it's like night and day, down to little things like the dreaded air puff test; it did NOT like my eyelashes. At the place I previously would go to, they'd just do it over and over again until it worked. Traverse instead had another way to test it, that while still invasive, at least wasn't a puff of air in the eye! All of the staff were wonderfully kind to me, and even were understanding in that I was purchasing my eyeglasses from online rather than from them. I cannot give this place enough praise and will be sure to go there for future vision-related needs.

I had to switch eye doctors due to my previous one no longer taking my insurance, and ever since I switched to traverse vision it has been absolutely terrible. I have astigmatism so at this place I only was able to try two different brands of contacts which they both were TERRIBLE so I was going through them quicker than I should've been. I realized I was going through them too quickly so some days I would try to wear my older pair of glasses. Well I guess I waited too long, because normally eye exams are yearly and when I went to order more contacts my insurance only covers an exam now every two years instead of one? And the lady said mid July is when mine expired so I couldn't order anymore contacts when I'm completely out, and I hadn't even realized that it had already been a year, it almost didn't sound right. Like the world is already hard enough as it is and I can't afford an exam. It's been barely past a year so I wish there was more she could've done but her whole demeanor was "unfortunate". Highly dissatisfied with this place all around. Hopefully I can find somewhere that will actually help me a little better. Customer service around here isn't great. -1/10

Traverse Vision is fantastic! We were out of state and my daughter lost a contact lens. Sue took care of ensuring a prescription was sent to another optical retailer so she could get a replacement. Excellent customer service. Very friendly staff, this has been my go to for eye care for years. Love them!!!

I had my exam, ordered new glasses and sunglasses and nearly 3 months later I am still trying to get everything straightened out. First they ordered the wrong sunglasses, tried to get me to accept them, even though they fell off my head (?!) Then, after my new glasses got a chip, they said something about not using the insurance I bought, but instead pay more money (like $200.) for new lenses. REALLY! Sadly, I will be looking for a new eye doctor in the area. Eye doctors are good, sales assistants, not so much. :-{

I can't complain, good glasses, the people were nice, doctor was nice and seemed pretty intelligent. What more can you ask for? edit: the frames are actually garbage, but they fix them for free. Lol.

I won't go back there , they passed me thru a line one to another ,adding tests without imforming me of the Costs of EACH test. there was No questing whether I needed that test and in the End the costs were unreal, I mean really ?
