Got there today at 3:30 for a 3:40 appt as requested. I asked the front desk if they were running late as I needed to leave by 4:20. They said no they're on time and she'll put a note as well that I needed to leave. Okay, I wandered a bit and than at about 3:45 was called into the exam room, did a few things and then the assistant said doctor was just wrapping up and to wait a few minutes. So I waited...and waited... Until 4:15. And then I left. I will not be coming back - this was a waste of time. I don't understand how you can assure someone you'll be on time and then have an exam that was scheduled for 3:40 not occur until after 4:15, even after I double checked. I respected your time by getting there on time, please respect mine.

Didn't get good experience for my wife and my son eye care. The billing can't be done once, often got a 2nd billing. The eye wear was very expensive and they got one of the eye glass len wrong. Many little things adds up and overall not a good experience. Suggest that you review the bills and coverage in details, and confirm the price before the purchase.

Very frustrating experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Novi. We were billed twice (both personally and through our insurance). Over $600 for an eye exam!!! They agreed it was a mistake on their part, but still no refund after 6+ months. Based on our experience, I would not recommend them.

I appreciate the visit on sept 16, 2025 and the thorough examination by Dr. Nagy. Also, Dr. Nagy spent significant amount of time with me explaining my vision conditions and what is needed for additional expert consultation. I only wish I did not miss the yearly appointments for the last few years. Yearly visit is of course important for everyone especially for me at my age. Proper management should slow down the progression of some of the age-related eye disease such as macular degeneration and cataract. I will keep my yearly appointments in the future.

I have to say, the customer service in the building is phenomenal. You feel like you walked into a Fortune 500 employee place. Everyone and I do mean, everyone is super nice, professional and extremely helpful. The atmosphere is just great and I normally would only buy one or two pairs of glasses but I bought three. The selection was excellent and I just couldn't pass up the third pair which was still half off like the second pair. Can't wait for my glasses to come in so I can wear them. I'm very pleased with everything today.

Doctor is a nice guy, but he doesn't seem to really thorough about each patient's individual needs, more like just a routine check. And he doesn't offer the try on sample glasses to walk around to really test out the prescription. It makes me doubting about what it really feels like. Not a whole lot Asian options in terms of frames. Very expensive. After insurance still $400? So I didn't order it. I will not come back to this place after two visits.
