Absolutely love Dr. Max. But his assistant that does the billings is the most unreliable, miserable woman I have ever meant! I called on a Saturday ( not realizing they are closed, my fault). Someone picked up and hung up, figured was a mistake, so I called back, and there was rustling said Hello? A woman's screamed into the phone. " We are closed! I am here doing billing! What can I help you with? For one, why even answer the phone if you're that annoyed in life? 2. Why are you being so unprofessional and rude. Never will I waste my time with them ever again.

I'm not sure what happened with the previous review but my experience was just the opposite. Today was my first time there and the ladies at the counter were very helpful and kind. Dr. Max Engelman was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to me as this will be my first time wearing glasses. As for pushing contact's, I was told that I'm not a candidate for them due to my eye condition and I would like to be able to. I have absolutely no complaints at all, everything was handled just as I expected thus I would recommend to anyone to go there!

My children and I have been seeing Dr.Max for years now. I wouldn't want to be seen by anyone else. He is absolutly amazing with my children and keeping them engaged. When it was my son's first visit, he made sure that it was fun, and not traumatizing. I always thoroughly enjoy our visits. The women at the front desk are always kind and helpful. And every single time our glasses come in they call as soon as they get them and always make sure they fit properly before we leave. If you want an optometrist with a warm welcoming atmosphere that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Dr.Max.

Very unprofessional over at Vision Max. There has been 3 separate occasions where they were supposed to call me to let me know my glasses arrived and every single time they forget and I had to call them to even see if they even got them in yet. Two of times when they did get the glasses in stock, they never opened and Checked the box they received until several hours later before realizing they either somehow ordered the wrong color twice in a row, yes this happened already and I have to wait another week where they'll forget to call me back AGAIN. Save your time and money and go else where.

I have gone here for over 20 years for my first glasses at 3 years old. Max has always been kind and great at explaining what's going on and the why's of what he's doing for me. The lady's at the desk are always helpful and willing to do whatever they can for you. This will always be the place I recommend to people.

Great place. I have been going here for over 15 years with no issues, great quality of care. My kids also go here and they are great, even caught some issues early that are not as common. They ask kids questions that help them figure out what may or may not be going on. I never have felt rushed at my appointments or looked down upon. I see a lot of negative reviews that make me wonder how truthful people are at their appointments or if they don't answer questions honestly, which then causes issues with scripts, etc. They can only treat you correctly if you are honest. Just like all doctors, personalities are different. Just because you don't get along with a certain type of personality, doesn't mean the person is bad or rude.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The people working there seemed completely uninterested in helping. They claimed my girlfriend had called and order glasses already and made it very apparent what an inconvenience it was to "cancel" the order when in fact she brought me in to help her pick a pair out. Her first experience with the doctor there was terrible he brought his bad mood into the office because he had a hard time getting out of his drive way and was completely unprofessional and made her uncomfortable. His son that works there told us multiple times "we are all set" as the lady was filling out my girlfriends order that she still had questions about. It was as if he couldn't get us out of the building fast enough I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star by far the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. If you value yourself and your time in anyway DO NOT GO HERE.

I probably hold the award the the longest worn contacts & repeated infectious because I wear them too long! Contacts r expensive Max has always been my eye doctor since middle school, I am 39 now. He knows my habits & anticipates them, making sure I take care of my eyes. I always run out of contacts, and often need a trial pair. He gives me one pair & the girls make me a appointment. Once I needed eye drops for the same "said repeated eye infection" & the girls spoke with him on vacation!! & the script was called in right away. Idk why the bad reviews... maybe cuz if he really don't like ya, he don't care to hide it. Max has always been honest & upfront with me. Sometimes people prefer "nice" over "honest."
