TLDR- go somewhere else, even if you're just getting your RX and ordering glasses online, GO ANYWHERE ELSE! This has been the most negative optometrist experience that I have ever been blessed with, by far. Because of my work responsibilities I scheduled myself for a 4pm appt to take place May6-- I scheduled this appointment in MARCH. And I waited. I was 10 minutes early for my appointment and everything was pretty routine with Calla & Dr L, but then we get to the end, with Pam. By this point it is 5 and the office is clearing out, and it is obvious Pam would rather be clearing out as well. I am being rushed and barely getting responses back when I speak to her, she is staring at me wide eyed like I am an alien. It's unwelcoming. I requested TWICE for transitions in the 30 minutes I was with her, and she failed to add that to my lenses. So I find that out after waiting 10 more days to get the glasses. They're wrong and I can't wear them outside due to my photosensitivity. They're useless to me because it's so bright out. I called and left a voicemail on 5/17 because when I drove by the place at 4:30 it looked desolate. Since it's Friday, I won't get a call back until Monday the 20th. So I have waited over a month for my appointment, ten days for the glasses, and two more days for this. This has been over 14% of my 2024. And on Monday the 20th I learned the Doc is out- first I was told "family emergency" but later there was a slip where someone stated she's on "vacation with her family"- so she left no one else in charge to help fix this and I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK for her to return. There are only 52 weeks in a year, yall have taken roughly six of mine at this point. They need to make this right, this is absolutely bonkers. And it's worth mentioning that the frames I bought were marked $220, I can find them on one of those sites that would have still taken my insurance for $40, and at Walmart for $100... and the extra I paid certainly isn't reflected in the care I received. BONKERS TO THE YONKERS!!!!
