I have been going here for a very long time. The office staff is exceptionally nice. Tina, who takes you back and does the preliminary tests is very kind and professional. Also Theresa H.at the front desk is so helpful and nice to everyone, especially seniors, who have trouble with the sign ins. And Dr. Barton is Great. I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. He explains everything and is very patient with answering questions.
They gave a great second opinion, a local doctor in town of port Huron had said I had glaucoma, turned out I did not have it, my optic nerves naturally point outward, which was not glaucoma and I did not need drops or surgery, but I do have a bill now from the local doctor who was wrong, I did get that.
I love Dr. Barton. However, when we show up for a 9:00 appointment at 8:30, the doors are locked even thought the website, Google, and the phone recording says your open at 8:30. The receptionist states on Thursday it's 9 am, however it not posted anywhere. So, that could be changed. The other gentleman we were waiting with ended up pounding on the door. Other then that I think the office is spot on. Dr. Barton always figures put the problem.
Amazing group. Dr. Barton performed my surgery in his office five years ago. Still happy.
I went to Fraser Eye Care Center of Port Huron because I was told by their staff that they specifically test for Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD), a condition I'm trying to get diagnosed. After confirming this with them before scheduling my appointment, I walked in hopeful. Instead, I was given a basic eye movement test--following a light behind the doctor's finger--and that was it.
No specialized tests, no real effort to diagnose BVD. What they *did* do was bill my insurance for a test they didn't actually perform. They didn't care about helping me with my condition; they just wanted to get paid.
The waiting room was overflowing with patients, and there weren't enough seats for everyone. It was clear they weren't concerned with quality care, only cramming in as many "customers" as possible to line their pockets.
This place is a scam. They falsely advertise services, charge insurance for tests they don't do, and treat people like dollar signs. If you're looking for real care and actual help with conditions like BVD, look elsewhere.
One positive note - They are friendly.
This is a great office, great staff and Dr. Barton is terrific. I've just transferred here from an office where I dreaded going because the staff is grumpy and the doctor didn't talk to me. Wow what a difference here! The staff is friendly, the patient care process they use is efficient, professional, pleasant - I always know what to expect, what's happening next. Dr. Barton is open and approachable, willing to answer questions and not in a rush to get to the next person. I like it very much. I think you will, too.

Just had my 1st apt to establish care in Port Huron. The center has state-of-art technology and the staff is caring, professional and gave me individualized care. I'm a complicated case; formerly followed at UMd and UT hospitals. Dr Barton's expertise & treatment surpassed my previous experiences. Nancy is awesome--couldn't have done more for me. And Brittany was fantastic. All the staff deserve 5 stars. Thank you everyone & see you in a year!
