Wayne G. Wilde O.D., P.C.

Dr. Wilde is a rare eye doctor. He's an optometrist, but he performs a more thorough and accurate exam than any ophthalmologist I've seen. I have a very high prescription, but he always makes sure I can see as clearly as possible. He's a great doctor - but he's also a caring doctor. One of the good ones who remembers you and cares about you as a person. We could use a few more like him!

I started going to Dr Wilde in the early 2000's after learning of him from a co-worker. Excellent, precision, and thorough eye care was always my experience during every visit and post-visit care. Dr Wilde knew I was very particular about the type of correction I needed and worked with me to the highest level of satisfaction. So much so, that even after moving to Columbus, Ohio in 2009, I still made the trip to see him for my regular annual eye exams (it also gave me the opportunity to visit my Michigan friends!). Sadly, after moving to Charlotte, NC, last year, I had to find an eye doctor closer to home. Dr. Wilde and his staff are the standard I've compared others to, in order to find the "right" doctor in Charlotte. Thanks Dr Wilde (and your staff) for the excellent care you've provided me for all these years. I'll be sure to stop by next time I'm in town. Doug V.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Wilde and his staff! He's a very friendly and knowledgeable doctor. I have never waited more than 2 minutes upon arriving to this center. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly. Everyone who works there is very well-dressed and professional. Dr. Wilde takes the time to get to know you. He is thorough and efficient. I had Lasik done through him and his affiliated surgical center in Ann Arbor. I have better than perfect vision (20/15) with zero complications. I drive 45 minutes to come out to see him. He really is the best eye doctor. He remembers you and knows your eyes. I plan on continuing to see him for the rest of my life!

I have been to other eye doctors, and always ended up back using readers out of frustration. My experience with Dr. Wilde was a pleasant surprise. He is so thorough! He explained the reasons for my vision problems, and actually has solutions for them. He gives you his time, his knowledge and makes you a priority. His staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice to find such a professional.

I want t o thank Dr. Wilde and his staff for such excellent customer service. Went in for an eye exam and was treated to a variety of tests to ensure that my eyes were functioning properly and that the prescription I needed for computer glasses was correct. Quite frankly, they over exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend Dr. Wilde to anyone who is looking for an experienced, informative and helpful eye doctor who really knows what he's doing.

Dr. Wilde and his staff are always very professional. I had irritated eyes and within minutes solved my issue with a simple solution. Dr. Wilde educated me on what not to use in my eyes, how to protect them and the long term effects if I don't. I can't wear a frame without the nose pads and they always seem to assist me in finding something that stylish to fit on my face. Explaining the importance of the proper lens for sun. They did test no other optometrist suggested. I wouldn't want to put that in anyone's hands but the true professional as Dr. Wilde is.
