Pearle Vision

I'm not much of a negative review writer, but I want to warn people to avoid this location. We came here to get our son's glasses repaired, as we had purchased the protection plan because kids will be kids. I wasn't aware that Pearle Vision was location specific, so we stopped into this one because they opened earlier in the day and I wanted to get him back to school. They made it clear VERY quickly that they had no intention of helping us, but it wasn't until I asked a bunch of clarifying questions that I figured out why this was. I can handle rude (which they certainly were), but what made me gasp was the comment the manager said to the salesclerk that "we wouldn't help them anyway because those are STATE GLASSES (implying we were on Medicare.)" We're not on Medicare and have excellent vision insurance, but that is 100% beside the point. How rude and disrespectful to those who use that kind of assistance and especially to a child? If I were to ever say something like that to a child/family at my place of employment, I would certainly expect to be terminated. So, I write this review as a warning to any family who needs to hear that they have no desire to help those who aren't wealthy. P.S. the Burnsville location was delightful in repairing his glasses, acknowledged that the glasses shouldn't have even broken in that way in the first place, and fixed the glasses on the spot without ever even looking up our account. So, if you want glasse that only Pearle Vision carries like my son did, go to the Burnsville location, they are delightful!

I had the best experience at Pearle Vision Apple Valley. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, they answered all of my questions and made sure I was well informed. (New to glasses.) I also never once felt pressured to purchase my glasses from them. They offered to measure my pupillary distance and gave me everything I needed to order from elsewhere online! 100% recommend this place.

For the past 5 to 7 years I have been a regular customer at the Apple Valley Pearle Vision. From day one the awesome and amazing store manager Lihn and her incredible staff. Have always been extremely helpful patient professional kind and generous with their time and attention. Regardless if it's been an eye exam contact lens or glasses I needed to or even an adjustment on an older pair of glasses. Lihn and her team always taking the best care of me. So much so that I have recommended them to family and friends colleagues and co-workers. I highly recommend that anyone who is in need of services with a smile and great attitude as well as professionalism the old school way. Stop in or give Lihn and her her staff who are more like family a call or a visit. You will be happy you did. B K Payton

The brunette younger lady who works the front desk was very rude. She had an attitude from the moment I walked in and when I was picking frames. She was very belittling when I asked simple questions about the turnaround time and process for potentially putting new lenses in my current frame. Fortunately, she had to move onto another customer and I worked with another employee who was much nicer when completing my purchase. I wish I got her name, but she seemed older than the upsetting front desk employee and mainly helped finalize the sale. This was my first experience at this location and has ruined my long-standing relationship with Pearle Vision. I just moved to the area and will consider other local options moving forward. Eye care is a priority for me and can become quite pricy. I'd prefer working with a business that doesn't offer a miserable experience.

I was trying out two different prescriptions of contacts. When as in Philadelphia for vacation time I accidentally left one of the sample boxes in Philadelphia. When I got back I asked if I get another sample box and I was told they were completely out of them and they didn't know when they'd get more in. This didn't seem right to me as they're an eyeglass place sounds like they were lying to me. I decided to go ahead and order glasses and contacts from this place spending about $1,000 for everything. The contacts were supposed to be in in about a week, but if you're calling them they said they were delayed and wouldn't get them for another 45 days. I called and said well I can I get a sample box of the right one since I'm out they would like to wear them this weekend and I won't have time to pick up the new boxes. The manager told me they do not do that you only get one box and one box only. I said well I only want the right pair since the other ones are delay getting in. And the boxes are free from The vendor. And they said well too bad we don't care you get one pair is our policy to only give you one sample box. I did whine about a little bit and say well that's a bad policy I won't be shopping here again and they didn't seem to care. So buyer beware.

All the staff at Pearle Vision in Apple Valley were great. I have used them for years and have had a very positive experience using either VSP or EYE Med insurance. I was able to let them know about my medical and vision insurance in advance so I didn't have to deal with that at my visit. Nice selection of glasses frames..bought fun light green ones.

The front desk greeted us with a smile. Rose in optical was very nice and helpful. Our son needed glasses for the 1st time and the process was very easy and fast.

The mechanics of making an appointment, the appointment itself with the medical provider were all satisfactory. The desk, service staff were also helpful with assisting with attempts to temporarily fix my broken glasses to remain serviceable till replacement. I did get the sense of annoyance from phone answering staff to check if my product was in at business days 9 or 10. My frustration and disappointment is with the final product. The frame didn't feel right from the start and the bows didn't sit right either. I assumed that it was just an adjustment period. Over the next few weeks, it didn't improve, in fact, it became more and more uncomfortable and the frame felt more unstable. I actually hated them. I did opt for a lower end pair with no frills because of budget constraints at that time but was planning on using my insurance benefit that was suppose to be active a month later with the intent to get a more deluxe pair. I still paid close to 300 dollars for this product. I went to a competitor to see what frames they had and come to find out these were no where near a good fit/sized frame for my face. They were too small and already bowed out. The kicker is an experienced STAFF assisted in picking, fitting and finalizing this frame purchase with me knowing they didn't fit my face. I RELIED on their PROFESSIONALISM and EXPERTISE but received services less than adequate. I probably should have realized this was not right sooner but I just thought it was bad choice of a suitable frame. It was never a suitable frame size for me from the start. Your company has lost my future business and I will not recommend your services to anyone. I hope this review alerts the public to scrutinize eye wear purchases at your store if they patronize you do they are aware of my experience.
