The clinic was in my network but the eye Dr was not. I was told my visit was covered 100%, it was not covered at all. I tried to fight this billing but lost. Had to pay the entire bill. Was very misformed about the insurance coverage at this clinic. None of the staff members were any help either in this matter. I was very disappointed that I was told by the insurance people & the receptionist at the eye Dr's office that my visit would be in network, yet it wasnt. My ins. Co. at the time was Humana. A very poor health Ins. With horrible customer service. I've been going to Cambridge Eye Clinic & seeing the same eye Dr for over 25 years & will continue to do so. Id recommend Dr. V. to everyone. He is terrific.

This was the first time I had Doctor Zabel.I
He was very easy to talk to. He did not get frustrated when doing the I test. He did not get frustrated with me.When doing the eye test?If you're familiar they ask you one or two why you look through the lens it didn't
matter how many times I asked him to go back-and-forth between the lenses. And that's the first time in my life II had a Doctor that did not get frustrated or aggravated with me when doing that test. He explained to me what the test showed an referred me to a doctor that would help with the next step of my treatment. It's a very calm office everyone.There is pleasant and helpful.

The receptionist is extremely rude. I'll NEVER be back here again. Such a snotty attitude. Just called to ask a few questions and she was acting like I should already know the answer. Hope it's recorded to be reviewed. Just lost an eye glass customer and will be getting my eyes checked elsewhere.
Upon reading other reviews. Sounds like they are snotty to just about everyone.

Annual checkup with Dr. Zabel. Couldn't be more pleased, efficient use of time, thorough exam, and gave some specific advice on how to treat an eye problem. He also told me I had the most beautiful eyes...well, maybe that ain't true. But I would heartily recommend the eye clinic.

Use extreme caution if going here. I called them about having my son's eyes checked. I asked them specifically how much it would cost because he is 20 and doesn't have insurance and they said do not worry about it, and assured me it would be free. Turned out his eyes were good and he didn't need glasses thank goodness. We were then sent a bill for $400. This is far more expensive than any other eye place. I would advise for anyone to never go there.
