Everyone at this location was kind and very helpful. Dr Margaret Benck was phenomenal, she educated me on things I needed to know about my eyes and the changes that she seen. I was taking all the information in because she genuinely seems like she care about your eye health. And Drake was so patient with me when I was undecided with price for my transition and trying to stay within budget just overall a great experience and definitely will be back. Love America's Best!
This really is a phenomenal team, easily the best Eye Clinic I have been to. I was able to grab a next day appointment, everywhere else was multiple weeks.
I not 100% on the name of my Doctor. I'm fairly certain. Though her name was Dr. Margret benche. The best eye doctor I've ever had. Very professional and kind. She found some issues which my previous eye doctor had missed. She was very patient with all of my questions and seemed to have genuine excitement to educate me. Its great when you understand the whole scope of the situation.
The staff was lovely aswell. I was greeted by a very receptionist immediately, the nurse was really nice, and the guy who commented helped check MD out was a very nice person. It was my first time buying glasses and he gave me a lot of insight.
Also the price was awesome. I grabbed two pairs of glasses and he told me if I'm buying both I get the exam fee waved. And I did all the extra testing. Then since my insurance isn't covered there, he gave me 30% off the entire order. The last place I bought prescription reading glasses it was $500 for the exam and glasses. Here all of the exams, Two new prescription glasses for $260. Which seems crazy to me!
I was reluctant because I read a few of the 1 star reviews here. But man I'm glad I picked them. 5 stars for sure.
I called and made an appointment over the phone stating I needed cycloplegic refraction, and I need a form filled out for lasik re treatment. I was told that my eyes would be dilated and I would need a ride home. I found someone to give me a ride than called back and scheduled my appointment earlier because my ride had to work later in the day. I drove an hour and a half one way to get there. When I got there I was asked if I had a 2nd appointment in 4 hours I sad no. I was than information I would need a 2nd appointment, they would put drops in my eyes than I would need go home and try to stay in a dark place. I told her no I didn't have a 2nd appointment, it is way too far for me to to go home, I don't have a dark place to be for 4 hours. My ride that i had arranged to drive me home couldn't wait 4 hours. I also told her I talk in detail about exactly what type of eye exam I need before the appointment. I was told the guy that answered the phone was new an didn't know. I left to drive home an hour and a half. 3 hours of driving and a large portion of my day waisted.
I called 3 other eye doctor none of them have ever heard of waiting 4 hours after to do the exam. One was so confused by this say normally the drops stop working in 4 to 6 hours so you would never want to wait 4 hours before the exam.
Do they know what they are doing?
Update: I contacted customer service as I was asked to do in the reply. They said since it was a customer service issue it had to be dealt with in store, and I was transferred to the store manager. Initially he seemed like he wanted to make things right. I was Initially offered a free exam, $100 off frames and upgraded lenses to help make this right. Than I got a call back and the district manager said I could only get a free exam. I clarified with the store manager what about the glasses??? He said his manager said no. So all they are willing to do is make my free exam free. I think they forgot that their biggest promotion is free eye exams. How is it making things right to give someone something that is already free for free?
I have been going to this location for over 3 years and have never been disappointed with the quality & service here. Their team mate Gunner was exceptional & the whole process took less than an hour to complete. I have always made my appointments during the late morning hours & have had excellent customer care & service every time. Thank you team Americas Best, I will be back.
Had my appointment and the doctor said "you're going to be 40 soon so we will just add bifocals now." I told the lady that ordered them to not add the bifocals because I dont need them and im not going to mess up my vision if I dont need them. Glasses were ordered and I picked them up 2 weeks later. Went to put them on and everything was blurry. I asked why and they stated that bifocals will do that. I told them they need to send them back and I don't need bifocals. The lady said she will send them back and a remake takes about a week and that I would get refunded for the bifocal part. I called today which is 2 weeks after they sent them out and they stated they just came in. Went in and put them on. Everything was still blurry. I stared that im canceling my order because these are still wrong. I got told " yes it is best to cancel them, you dont need them anyways." If I didnt need them then why do I have a prescription? The lady told me the full refund will be in my account today. I said you better not forget like last time because now I need to go somewhere else to order glasses because you can't seem to get my prescription correct. I will not go back to America's best. I had to wait 4 weeks for glasses that in the end weren't correct and got told I didn't need them anyways. I won't recommend this place to anyone.
This is a wonderful place to go to for your vision needs!! The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and their system is very efficient and organized. I hadn't had a vision exam in over 15 years and needed to get help for my recent vision changes. I had no idea how seeing an eye doctor worked, but they took such great care of me and I didn't have to worry once I got there. I do not have any vision insurance, but it was still very affordable to come here. Thank you all so much for your help!! I am so grateful.
I will not be returning to America's Best due to repeated poor customer service. My appointment was scheduled for both glasses and contacts, yet only a glasses prescription was provided without confirmation. When I later requested my contact prescription, I was mailed the wrong one, then handed my old prescription in person. Staff were dismissive and rude throughout the process, and I was told to schedule another appointment despite the original being for both. Clear communication and professionalism were completely lacking.
Should have a disclaimer for their $89 exam and 2 pairs of glasses. My total ended up being $513. They charged me $113 PER LENSE. My prescription is the same on each eye. So crazy. Yes, I chose a more expensive frame (didn't want a plastic one that would break in a week), along with having progressive lenses, but still no where close to the advertised price. And I only got one pair of glasses.
Not only the cost, but the provider flew through my exam. I felt like I was just a number. Won't be back.
