Select Eyecare of Coon Rapids

Been there once and will never return. When I first called to see if they take Workmen's Comp. and then telling him I'd be in soon he was very rude and told me I need to make an eye appointment when I already had one. I just needed glasses. Told me he would call when they're in, but I had to call many days after he told me how long it will take. And then when you come picking them up, they didn't even fit them to make sure that it was sitting properly with two pair pairs of glasses. I have many of sunglasses because of the eye condition I have and just recently finding out that the sunglasses aren't really a prescription pair like I asked, I cannot see clearly in one eye either they got it wrong or something. They really don't help me a bit and you would think that's a prescription lens would be a lot thicker than a non-prescription but they are basically the same therefore I don't think they're even a prescription pair. They told me that those pair of sunglasses you can get them as a prescription but I believe they're not just how I can see out of them. I just find them rude and unprofessional, and I will never go back or recommend anyone to this company!!! Update::: If you put as much effort into running your business, like you do, trying to find out who left bad remarks, you would have a good business, But for you to work as hard as you do and then call the person that left that remark is a bad situation, For you. Do better business and take care of your customers so people don't have to leave bad comments. It's a little too late to try to correct problems because you are such a crabby man and I'm sorry to say that, but do better business take care of your customers and they will come back and they will tell others instead of calling them months after my visit. Yes, if I have a problem, I should come back but with the experience I had it's the last chance you get again sorry to say that as well. I don't like doing business with people who claim their professional which to me is not even a word because nobody is, I shouldn't have to be running back-and-forth to something as simple as this. So stop your calling it is what it is and I'm sorry for doing business with you. And I'm not the only one who's saying what I am saying. I've read your comments. I'm not trying to run you out of business., But in today's world where you got Internet and you can post there's a lot of this going on just explaining my experience. I've been to better places believe me.

Dave is a super nice guy and has went out of his way all the time for us. Our family of 4 has been going here for years and will continue to , even though we just moved further away. Both of our younger boys glasses have broke at different times , even my wifes glasses have broke. I bring them to Dave and he works his magic and they are perfect again within a few minutes. All the family including myself just got new glasses again today. Dave being the Superman of Eye Care and knowing we live farther now , he worked on all 4 new glasses that we all picked out and they were ready for us while we were still browsing around. I thought I would have to come back on my day off to pick them up ... Nope , he says here they are. I didn't even know he was working on my boys glasses while my wife and I were looking at a pair for us as well. Came home same day , all of us with new glasses we loved. Much appreciated ! Thanks for all you do for us.

Everyone was so friendly, I reached on Tuesday out due to experiencing ocular migraines for the first time and they were able to get me and my fiance in today! Cute location, our exam experience was great & the selection of glasses were perfect for what we needed! Definitely will be back, thank you!!!

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Had issues with upgraded scratch protection flaking off sunglasses with normal use in under a year. I've worn prescription sunglasses for over 20 years and have never had this happen. They warranted with new lenses but it happened again shortly after new lenses. This time out of warranty and was initially refused any support. Escalated with manager that's when things spiraled with the manager and they became combative. At this point i just wanted to do business elsewhere and pay out of my pocket for new lenses. I went to another optician, who requested my prescription from this Select location and was refused to fax over the prescription and lied to the optician about how long it had been since I had an exam and purchased the sunglasses. I will never do business with this company and will be reporting the incident with HIPPA, BBB and state attorney general.

They are very accommodating. My son has sever social anxiety and this is the first eye care clinic he has felt comfortable with. He broke his glasses and they replaced same day. He needed bigger frames and they said come on in and we'll help him out. They are nice people. I highly recommend.

I've been a client for 3+ years. My experiences here have been great. I've never had to wait long before being seen and the prices have been competitive. The best thing about Select Eyecare is the personal service they offer. I have stopped by with fitting issues, like glasses sliding down my nose, that were resolved on the spot.

We recently changed eye clinics since our previous eye provider is retiring. Select Eyecare is much closer to our home and I have had a fabulous experience there recently. My eye exam was quick and thorough. The service that I have experienced there is wonderful. They helped me choose glasses that fit my face and personality. They came in within 7 days. I picked them up a few days ago and needed a slight adjustment and was in and out in minutes. They remembered me and give great, personal service!
