Ijeoma S. Chinwuba, M.D.

The staff and support crew were all excellent. Dr. Chinwuba was awful, with a capital B. I don't know if she was having a bad day but it has been many years since I've encountered a doctor with such a bad attitude. I will not see her again. The woman at the reception desk and the woman who actually examined my eyes, vision test etc, were both terrific, otherwise this would be a one star rating. Ymmv. UPDATE since I cannot respond to the reply below: I'd be happy to call and discuss this with the office but seeing the number of very similar complaints from other patients here, you'll have to forgive me for thinking that it won't make a difference, and that it will be a complete waste of everybody's time. To put it simply, your behavior was abhorrent. You were rude and short with me from the moment you entered the exam room without so much as a hello or introduction, and it only got worse from there. As I said, I'd be happy to discuss this with whomever might be interested but I will not see you again as a patient, and it is unlikely I would return to your office to see any other doctors there. I'd suggest you look in the mirror and reconsider how you treat patients, especially those you haven't met before. As a type one diabetic for more than 50 years and a photographer, my eyes and vision are vitally important and I will be seeking a second opinion on the condition of my eyes. Your brief, halfassed "exam" and your obnoxious, rudely dismissive attitude has left me with zero confidence in your assessment of my eyes.

I was very impressed by this doctor. She was no nonsense, straight forward, and thorough. She engendered trust and was very knowledgeable. I can see below a lot of people are critical of her. I found her to be a bit rushed and while she seemed a bit unvarnished, she was quite sincere and very genuine. She isn't there to be your friend. Would you rather have a doctor running late who stops to talk, or one who runs on time and just does their job? If other doctors stopped chatting you up, maybe they could run on time. Give her a break, I don't know about you, but I like getting on with my day, and a doctors office is not where I want to spend all of my time.

I received the most thorough eye exam ever. Dr. Chinwuba explained my conditions and options available. She made sure I understood everything going on with my vision. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Chinwuba was unprofessional. Never smiled, talked down to me and didn't explain. Not friendly at all. Still waiting on a prescription ok after a week. Worst Dr I've ever had. Will never go back.

Dr Chinwuba was pleasant and professional. She seemed familiar with my history and her exam, diagnosis and planned treatment was appropriate. I felt comfortable and confident in her assessment.

This was the 2nd time in a year that I've seen her and very happy with her help
