I have been a Patient of RIVERTOWN EYE CLINIC for over 30 years...Even after selling my house in Hastings & moved to a Town 30 minutes away 12 years ago... They have always made me feel Important & treated me with Respect & Concern for my Happiness..A very FRIENDLY BUNCH...IT is worth driving 1 hour, 2X a year or more for free adjustments, when needed or when I needed to replace the lenses for FREE, when scratched, within 1 whole year.. Clean & modern up to date equipment. Dr Eric is very tentative & takes time to discuss options & suggestions. I started with Julie . Loved her soft gentle voice & explanations on what she was doing & what was next. The only thing I noted was there wasn't a place to hang a jacket. Front desk gals were also smiling and professional.

I have never been more disappointed. I have been a customer of Rivertown Eye Care for years and I am currently on an international cruise and I lost my glasses in the ocean and they would not give me my prescription because it was expired. I need to replace my eyeglasses urgently and I had to have my son (in town) call them multiple times to get my prescription. They finally released it after saying that it was expired and no online businesses would honor it. I went on Zenni and they let me enter my Rx manually and they will hopefully arrive before I even get home. You lost a $$ customer. I'll go somewhere else, as will my family. I just needed to get a short term cheap quick pair and would have gone in for a nice $1,200 replacement, but I will not go back to a place that won't help out in a crappy situation. Do better. I tried to keep my business in town.
