Eye Care Associates, PA

I have been a patient for many years. On my last appointment, I didn't have a contact lens check, so I thought I wouldn't be charged (my preventative is 100% covered and I don't have any issues). HOWEVER, they billed me as "medical" instead of "preventative" because I have an old scar in one eye that WAS NOT DISCUSSED OR MENTIONED AT ALL DURING MY APPOINTMENT. I only noticed because I didn't have the extra fee for the contact lens check, but it turns out they have been billing me for a non-preventive office visit for years because this old scar exists. I have been paying a copay, literally just throwing money away, for no reason for years. I called their billing department and was told they would chat with a manager and call me "tomorrow." It has been a month and I still haven't received a call. I tried calling the office over a week ago and left a message with Dr. Goyal's assistant and haven't received a callback. I decided it would be easier to just pay this fraudulent bill, put the word out for others, and never go back. I understand billing for medical would apply if we had talked about the scar. But we didn't. It was a routine preventative visit with no problems. We didn't discuss a single thing. My plan if they fixed the code was to donate my copay money to my community that is really hurting right now. If Dr. Goyal's office is reading this, I implore you to make a nice donation to mutual aid in the community.

Today was the worst I have seen this clinic backed up. My appointment took over 2 hours. Several people waiting and several people walked out. This clonic must do a better job of not scheduling too many appointments. I have been going to this clinic for many many years and have never had to wait that long. I popbalby will not be going back. Eye Care please do better.

We absolutely love our Doctor. We have been seeing him for years and will continue to. The quality of the care we receive here deserves 5 stars. However, they lose 2 for scheduling. Be prepared to be in the office 2 to 2.5 hours after your scheduled appointment time.

Can't say if the care was any good. I waited 10 min to check in despite only one person ahead of me. Then, I waited 1 hour 10 min before I finally decided to leave. The staff didn't bother to give updates about the wait time so who knows how much longer it would have been. Also, I checked in advance to see if they accepted my eye care insurance by calling them. I was told they accepted it. When I checked in, they said they don't take the insurance. Guess I will never know if this place was any good.

Wonderful, caring staff at a comfortable facility. I can't praise highly enough the terrific Dr. Goyal. Always the professional but with a very warm & attentive personality; Dr. Goyal is also an excellent surgeon! Truly the best eye care available!

Love this place! Staff went out of their way to fit me in and get around my work schedule. Dr. Murali is one of the most personable doctors I've ever met. I had great results from my cataract surgery with zero complications. Thank you Dr. Murali!!

Busy professionals and families beware. I've been going to Eyecare Associates for 8+ years and can definitively say they will not respect your time as a patient. Appointments start when your medical professional says they do, sometimes nowhere near when they're scheduled. It can be extremely frustrating.

My spouse and I both really like this eye clinic. Dr Goyal is exceptional, and virtually everyone else we've met who works here seems excellent as well.
