Look +See Eye Care

Dr. Penshom was very attentive and thorough during my eye exam. She took her time to make sure she could answer any of my questions and gave plenty of helpful tips to help with my dry eyes. Will definitely be coming back!

Went in today for a long-over due eye exam. I am a pretty anxious person but everyone there was so nice and helpful. (Especially the tech who gave me a sticker ) Everyone was very helpful when it came to insurance as well absolutely loved it here!

Recently shifted back to Look+See. The whole experience much improved! The care team did a great job on my exam. Frame selection greatly improved: now carrying IC! Berlin frames---which are fantastic. Brian with the fittings-outstanding help selecting and fitting frames!!! Thank you Brian for all the solid help today!

Look and See used to have the best customer service and all around phenomenal, personal care. It has repeatedly gotten worse with new ownership-- mistakes on prescriptions, lack of knowledge on products, more sales tactics, incorrect billing, inability to state actual cost of things. I have tolerated it because they used to be so good. Now you can't even call them on the phone to get things addressed-- you get directed to people that don't even work there and can't reach them either.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dr. Stidham was fantastic! Answered every question I had and made sure I understood everything that was happening! It has been the best experience I've ever had with an eye care provider. Also, the staff is fantastic! Super friendly and kind...and BRIAN! OMG! So funny! He has a wit and charm about him that puts you at ease! If you're shopping for glasses, please make sure you work with him. His goal is truly to make sure you feel 100% comfortable in your new glasses, not to sell you the highest frames, or put you in something you don't feel comfortable in. Beyond happy with my experience here and I hope others start going here as well!

I have been going to Look + See since they opened and this used to be the best place to get eye care and glasses! Under new ownership I am noticing a significant decrease in quality and customer care. During the eye exam the provider had "read the chart wrong" because of that the eye exam was going poorly. During the frame shopping I was helped to pick a few frames. Fitting the frames took over an hour, not because it was difficult but because the two employees were very chatty with each other and I was mainly an audience for their chat. Order placed and I was told I would get my glasses in "about 2-3 weeks, but more likely 3 weeks." First, under the original owner the wait was a week to two weeks maximum. Now on to week 4 I called the eye clinic. Lo and behold the glasses were delivered last week but no one called. This EXACT same thing happened to my son 3 months ago when he ordered his glasses. I was told "something is wrong with the system." And that they "are working on it." The cost to get glasses here is high but I was willing to pay because of the incredibly detailed care and fun frames. The cost is STILL high but with much lower quality care and customer service. You may be well suited to go elsewhere. I know I will be.

Update: worked with Joe to provide feedback on my experience. He was able to get my issues resolved and communicated well about everything that happened. Poor service, weird billing practices, poor glasses purchasing and fitting experience. I'm not confident in my exam results after everything that's gone on. My prescription printout doesn't include all details making it more work to purchase frames elsewhere.

The entire staff is fabulous! Very thorough eye exam, great store location, easy to contact the staff for follow-ups. A+
