I had a very positive experience during my evaluation on whether or not I would benefit from cataract surgery. It started with all the office people and the technicians that checked my eyes and ended with a very pleasant experience with both Dr Hansen and the individual who scheduled my surgery. Dr Hansen was friendly, very professional and concerned that he answered all my concerns and that I understood what type of lens I could go with and the pros and the cons of them. I'm looking forward to Dr Hansen doing my cataract surgeries.

Dr Hansen was a 2nd opinion for me, after a really rough experience elsewhere. He was personable, kind, caring, inquisitive AND a respectful listener. He made me feel comfortable and like I'm the captain of my team and my eye surgery decisions. He gave me his very informed medical opinion and cited research as why I should take vitamins to slow the macular degeneration I'm having, whereas another MD dismissed them. I highly recommend Dr Hansen!
