Warby Parker Ridgedale Center

The Warby Parker at Ridgedale is a great location to shop around for glasses and prescription sunglasses. The selections available in store for try on are great, and the employees are incredibly helpful. Cassie helped us today with our purchase, and she made sure my husband got to try the frames he wanted to see even if she had to find them in the backstock. He was considering the flash blue lenses for sunglasses, and she even showed him her personal pair so he could see how it would look (he chose a clip on, though, so no flash blue is available on those, darn!). We have shopped here in the past, and plan to continue in the future.

Very disappointing experience. I came in for a simple glasses adjustment and waited 35 minutes after joining the waitlist. When I asked again about the wait, I was told it would be another 25+ minutes, despite the store not being busy. I left and went to the North Loop location, where the adjustment was handled quickly and professionally. The difference in customer service was noticeable..

They offer eye exams, but they don't actually have eye doctors on site. This leads to extremely poor patient care. It seems convenient and modern and high tech until you get your new glasses and the prescription doesn't work and you have to go around in circles trying to get things fixed. I've never had these kinds of issues when I've seen eye doctors in person. Do your eyes a favor and go somewhere else. Also, they claim that their eye exams include digital imaging because that's required for the off-site doctors, but you still pay extra for it. It was a line item right on my bill. And to Warby Parker's response, I say: Shenanigans! You say this isn't the level of service you aim to provide, but it absolutely is the level of service you CHOOSE to provide. Warby Parker CHOOSES to save money by not having doctors on site. Warby Parker CHOOSES to tell customers that digital imaging is included in their exams, and Warby Parker CHOOSES to not mention up front that despite their practice of not having doctors on site requiring digital imaging, THE COST of that digital imaging IS NOT included in the exam. So they save money on your exam, and pass the cost on to you.

I would highly recommend Warby Parker! We spent over 3 hours at a competitor store (for my son and husband) and we were in/out of Warby Parker within 30 min. ALL the staff were super friendly, competent, and efficient. I will definitely be going back. They gave a wide variety of options and the price is fabulous! Love that there is a store to try on glasses!

I brought in my glasses that had broke, fully anticipating purchasing another pair - at least the same frames in hopes they could still use my lenses, since they were less than a year old. The woman went ahead and ordered me a new pair of glasses, saying they never should have broken like that! She was so helpful and kind; i am so grateful.

Susan was fantastic! I went in with one pair of glasses in mind and left with a much better pair. Susan was helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and honest. The check our process was quick and I had no problems using my insurance.
