WARNING, THIS IS A LONG READ!!! First things first, I've been to Vision Works, America's Best eyeglasses & even tried Target Optical because those were the available options. Over the last 2yrs our options changed, Finally! We called The Spectacle Shoppe 1st! Setting up the appointments was super easy with the friendly staff. I wasn't sure what to expect after being let down so many times before. However from the moment we were let in & checked in, I could tell this was going to be a different experience than all the ones before. All the staff we interacted with was friendly & up beat. As we waited for Dr. Mike Krysiak we were offered a beverage as we looked at frames. After my wife's exam, I was next... As Dr. Mike started my exam I quickly realized this was going to be a more in depth process than ever before. I was given way more options for as far as with things being in focus when reading the eye chart. I've never been able to read the very bottom line, for years I was told that seeing the second line from the bottom was as good as it was going to be. After making several adjustments with the different magnification lenses, I could read the bottom line with clarity & confidence! Next was the Almost impossible job of looking for frames... They have soooo many brands & styles. Even a vintage collection, its a whole room by itself! There are around 4,000 different options on display to choose from. I was told " if you don't see anything that really interested me, could talk more options ". Like wow! After frames we were sitting down to talk specifics about lenses, like bi focal with line or progression (no line bi focal). Transitions lenses (self darkening) or not & even the type of material the lens is made of. After all was said & done, when leaving they gave my wife a beautiful rose. I don't remember exactly how many days it took them to do the lenses but it was a short turnaround time. Upon pick up we were greeted again by the friendly staff. It only took 35 minutes or so for them to put my wife's new lenses into her old frames(she really loves them). While they did her lenses, I got to try mine on. It was like a whole new world! Everything was so crisp & clear, at distances & up close. I immediately went up to Dr. Mike shook his hand a deeply thanked him. This is truly the best I've been able to see in over 10yrs. Got them in mid January 2026 & It's been almost 3 weeks with the new glasses. It took a couple of days to get the eyes trained on how & where to look through the lenses to see at different distances. It's absolutely amazing to be able to see clearly without bi focal lines. The transition from distance to close is seamless. This is also the first time in 34yrs that I can actually read anything for a longer period than 10 minutes without receiving a excruciating tension migraine that lasts sometimes for 8-10 hours. I truly thank everyone there at the Shoppe, This is by far the best glasses experience I have ever had! We will definitely be going back for years to come.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. This spectacle shop is truly a gem in the community. They have been fixing, adjusting, and cleaning my glasses for years, and they never give me any hassle -- not once. Everything is always done with kindness, care, and a smile, and they somehow manage to make you feel genuinely welcome every time you walk in. They always do the adjustments and cleanings on the house, which already says so much about their integrity and customer care. And then there's the little things -- chocolates, flowers, and thoughtful touches that just make your day better. It's not just a glasses shop; it's an experience. Warm, generous, and incredibly professional. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its customers, this is it. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

As a former Warby Parker customer, I can say without a doubt the Spectacle Shoppe is worth every penny. Beyond the selection of frames (which is incredible), the care the team puts into getting you the right prescription and exactly the right frames changed my entire outlook on glasses. Plus they helped me figure out my eyes are exceptionally dry and had some very helpful treatment options. Highly recommend!!

The Spectacle Shoppe has unparalleled stock. If you want something wild, they have it. If you want something subdued and classic, they have it. If you want something in between, they have it. And because their selection is so huge, I was able to find what I was looking for with the exact angles and the exact size and shape that worked best for me. Not only that, but I never felt overwhelmed, because their amazing staff helped me find what I needed until I narrowed it down to my exact pair. Rosie was particularly lovely. She was patient and supportive while I tried and re-tried the same pairs over and over, and she never made me feel rushed. She also took the time to run my insurance and explain my pricing options. When I picked up my glasses she was thorough in ensuring they fit me the way they should. I've been wearing glasses for 30 years and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. I will never shop anywhere else again. My new glasses look and feel great! The Spectacle Shoppe definitely gained a lifelong customer today!

Frames on my main pair of glasses broke a week ago, couldn't find time to get them into my regular shop. Was late coming home from work today, but I saw the billboard for this place and thought I'd give them a try. Called the store at 5:45 to ask if they could swap my rx lenses from broken frames into good frames (identical model). I spoke with Mr. Morehead, he asked a couple of questions, and said that they might be able to swap quickly, but he wasn't sure, he'd have to see them. I showed up at 5:51, they close at 6. Mr. Morehead greeted me, brought me straight to a counter, took one look at my broken and new frames and the lenses, and said he thought it would actually be very easy. He explained some of the mechanics as he swapped the lenses. Clearly, he has worked on glasses before. He got the lenses in, cleaned them up, and refused to charge me for the work. Mr. Morehead and another gentleman sent me home with a rose and some chocolate for my wife. 100% serious. No hyperbole, this is the story as it happened. They've earned a new customer!!!

This place is great. They have four or five times the amount of glasses out compared to other places. I believe I was told about 4,000 glasses are out at any one time. There is a good variety between conservative and fun glasses. They also have cookies, pop, water, and flowers to make the experience enjoyable. They also offered a free drink ticket next door while I waited the 30 minutes for my glasses. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

It's really hard to find places that carry a good selection (or any selection...) of kid's frames. The Spectacle Shoppe came through! The gentleman who helped us was SO great with my 3 year old and helped her choose her first every pair of glasses. They were so patient with my questions, and my daughter got to take home a flower and a cookie alongside her excitement to get her new pair of glasses:) The in house lens lab is an extra bonus!

Five Stars - Outstanding Experience! I had an incredible experience at the Spectacle Shoppe thanks to Moe, Carol, and Sarah. Their customer service was beyond exceptional--kind, thoughtful, and truly collaborative. I was in a bind needing prescription sunglasses same day, and they went above and beyond to make it happen quickly and smoothly. Their professionalism and genuine care turned a stressful situation into an easy, even enjoyable one. I'm so grateful for their help and highly recommend the Spectacle Shoppe to anyone looking for top-notch service and expertise.
