PineCone Vision Center - Sartell

After having the same frames for 17 years I decided it was time to get myself something new and fun. I worked with Shanah in optical and she was awesome! She helped me find exactly what I wanted that fit my style and personality. Her and I pulled A LOT of options and she was so patient and helpful when dwindling them down to the last 3 pairs. I'm so happy with her service and the choice I made with glasses! Thank you Shanah!!

My first time there today! My examers and the front desk lady to the right when you enter the front door were so kind However, right as I was done with my exams and confused to where to go next to get my prescription sheet, I walked up the front desk lady who sits on the left from the front door and asked here "Where do I go to checkout?" she stayed looking at her computer said "You're all set" and I told her I still needed my prescription. She told the other lady to help me in such a passive tone. The other kind lady takes me to where I need to be and we stand around because no one is talking to us (two of the three desks had no costumers) and the front desk lady just me I prob had to wait a little bit. The girl in charge of the third desk gets up and leaves. I stand around for a good 30 secs until another girl comes by and asks what I'm waiting for. I tell her I need to check out for my prescription. She asks if I was buying glasses and I said no, then she said I could just leave. I kept having to repeat to her that I needed my prescription and she finally understood and led me to the empty desk that the girl had left from, and printed my prescription. As we're standing by the printer, the girl who was just at that third desk whispers VERY VERY quietly to the lady helping me "Are you helping her?" . . . Like I'm right here. I don't know if people were just having a bad day or were racist. But at least talk to me like I'm a person, I can literally hear you.

I brought my kids in for annual exams. The staff was helpful and did a great job working with each of them. Sara from the glasses department was especially wonderful! She helped reschedule next year's appointments so that they were closer together. She also stayed late on a Friday to help order my daughter's new glasses. I appreciate her patience and willingness to go above and beyond!

I have been coming here for almost 3 years for myself and my family. The Dr's, nurses, and the other staff are so great. Very friendly and helpful always. Super great with my children and that right there is a super PLUS.

I had cataract surgery and Pinecone gave me four checkups to reassure me that my eyes are as they should be now. Their staff is efficient, friendly, helpful and attentive. I really like Shalon Running as my eye doctor. She and all are good listeners.

Dr Colatrella has been absolutely wonderful! I take Ozempic to keep my daily blood sugars stable and he is very up on making sure my eyes do not change to where there could be permanent damage. He did a baseline test today and I am happy to say things look good but he will continue to monitor! Thank you for being proactive!

The provider was wonderful. Dr. Ronning went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and concerns. 10/10 for the provider. The confirmation calls, texts, voicemails, and emails were a bit excessive. Even after confirming the appointment I continued to get multiple daily reminders about my upcoming appointment. When scheduling, I asked to talk to the billing department to verify if my new insurance plan was in network. After confirmation that my insurance was in fact in network I scheduled my yearly exam. At check in all of my demographics were verified. Including insurance. Upon checkout, I was informed that my insurance was not in network, and payment in full would be due prior to me leaving. When I asked to talk to someone in billing, since that is who I verified my insurance; I was told they would have to call me at a later time. Very disappointing to say the least.

It was my first visit to this eye clinic and my experience was great! Friendly and polite staff starting at the reception desk all the way to the ordering of glasses at the end. The Technician Ashley and Doctor Throndsen were the best! Super friendly, thorough and informative. They really knew their stuff. I'll be back for sure!
