Having been diagnosed with glaucoma 30 years ago, and a subsequent surgery to correct and stablilize my condition, I know firsthand that proper eye care is an essential component of overall health. I have entrusted my care to Dr. Anderson and the entire staff at St.Cloud Eye Clinic ever since moving back to St. Cloud in 2007, and have always been taken care of with the utmost professionalism, expertise, and courtesy. Recently Dr. Anderson performed cataract surgery, and at the same time corrected my far, intermediate, and near vision, and also my astigmatism, with one simple surgery in each eye. I can't believe how much better my vision is: 20/15, and no need for prescription lenses anymore! Colors are more vibrant; nighttime glare is almost nonexistent. Everything has a fresh, well-defined crisp look! I've always had peace of mind, knowing that my eye care is in capable, competent, and qualified hands- the entire staff at St.Cloud Eye Clinic are truly dedicated to their profession, and strive to provide service excellence!

I have been going here for a few years for ~2 visits per year. I received my bill for my visit in December 2025 and it went from ~$220 to $400 after insurance!! I received no notification that price changes were going to happen. I spoke to the billing manager and he said they renegotiated their rates with insurance companies. They increased the amount they charge by nearly 70%! I do not suggest going to this clinic - they will not warn you when they are changing rates and have zero issue doubling your bill.

I had a pleasant experience having Lasik done with Dr Lucius. All the information was explained very well and all my questions were answered. I am very happy that I had this procedure done locally.

I recently received new LAL lenses during cataract surgery, and just finished with the adjustment and lock-in follow-up appts. Dr. Nelson and staff were great, especially Tanya. Friendly, informative & professional. I had been wearing glasses &/or contact lenses for over 45 yrs. My dominant eye was immediately corrected to 20/20. Such an amazing difference! My left eye was adjusted after surgey with UV treatments to improve short vision. The results were pretty much what they said they'd be. Finally free of glasses & contacts! And most reading now free of cheaters. Still carry cheaters for small print or low light reading. Still have floaters which are bothersome with short vision, which I was told would still be there. Is the extra expense, out-of-pocket for LAL lenses worth it, to reduce dependence on cheaters? That is still is still up in the air. I would have needed toric lenses anyways. Overall very pleased with the process & care at St. Cloud Eye Clinic.

Going to Dr Nelson a few years back simple cornea transplant , I'm in so much pain and can't really see he asked me if I can get myself down to the u of m after he screwed up my eye you never want to apologize or nothing but I'm still going blind in my right eye thanks a lot Dr Nelson . Bk my eye was pretty good until he got his hands on it I'm pretty much blind to my right eye and he calls himself a surgeon, after my surgery they told me to get dressed there's my clothes and they rushed me out to the parking lot this is after being under anesthesia that's some pretty good bed you know bedside manner yeah so now I still need surgery I don't know if I'll get anything back in my right eye because of him he shouldn't be working on anybody and the thing is I trusted him and look what he did, I forgot to add yeah I woke up part way through the procedure I had one nurse with her hand around my throat tell me not to move why would she ever hand around my throat about the four times she said that then I heard Dr Nelson well all I can do is save to try to save the eye now, and after anesthesia my past experience you supposed to sit around and wait for a while not be shoved out in the parking lot right after, tried to pawn me off on this lady coming in for appointment, ask yourself what kind of places is this and they charge our insurance company how much it seems to me the insurance companies are being ripped off

I had cataract surgery both eyes done within the last two weeks by Dr Lucas I am so happy with my results my eyesight is sooo much better I've noticed I don't need my glasses, colors are so vibrant! Thank you to Dr Lucas and his very friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Treated with respect and kindness, which is very rare these days!

My experience with Dr. Derek Bonacci and the St. Cloud Eye Clinic has been exceptional! I have medical conditions that require regular exams and check ups. I always look forward to my appointments. The entire team is so friendly and Dr. Bonacci is the best eye doctor I know of since Dr. Mark Moberg retired. After Dr. Moberg retired I went to another eye doctor in St. Cloud with whom I was displeased. I found Dr. Bonacci through the help of Carefree Living's social work assistant and she's never steered me wrong!
