Whiting Clinic

I had surgery performed in 2018 by Dr. Whiting, and it was a great experience. He was professional and thoughtful. In fact, so was everyone in the office! However, since then this business has changed hands. As others have been saying, it is NOT the same place. I've been trying to get a receipt for that procedure so that I can submit it to my HSA. It is definitely not happening. I keep talking to somebody in Florida who can't get results for me. So this is $3000 I cannot withdraw. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau hoping to get that darn receipt. (For some reason, the clinic had a receipt and office visit note for my initial consultation in 2014, so I know they have the records.) The BBB attempted to contact Whiting Clinic twice, and they haven't gotten a response either! I would definitely stay away from this sketchy place. I feel bad for Dr. Whiting, whose name is attached to it.

I had my original surgery about twelve years ago with Dr. Whiting, and it was an incredible experience, including excellent care, outstanding customer service, and I truly felt taken care of. At the time, I was explicitly guaranteed a lifetime enhancement if a correction was ever needed. Recently, my vision has declined and I'm wearing glasses again, so I called to schedule my enhancement. I was told the clinic is under new ownership and that they no longer honor the lifetime correction policy. I would need to come in as a new patient. The woman who took my call gave me a very uneasy, shady vibe. She suggested I call Ovo, where Dr. Whiting now practices. When I contacted Ovo, they confirmed that while they do offer a heavily discounted rate for former Dr. Whiting patients, free revisions are no longer offered. I still scheduled a consultation at the original clinic, but when I arrived, the door was locked and no one was in sight. I waited, called, and eventually someone opened the door wearing a very casual outfit. She informed me that I had signed up for the wrong type of appointment and again stated that my lifetime warranty would not be honored. Overall, this experience closely mirrors many of the recent 1-star reviews. What was once a professional, patient-centered practice now feels disorganized and dismissive. Given the promises made at the time of my surgery, this outcome is extremely disappointing. I will not return to the "new" Whiting Clinic.

I had my consultation two weeks prior to my procedure and they got me in quickly! The procedure itself was so quick and my follow appointment was even quicker. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for years and finally decided to see if I was a good candidate. I am so thankful to my doctors and everyone who helped me! Now I have 20/20 vision and couldn't be happier! They give you all of the things you need for recovery and check in on you! Thank you Whiting Clinic!

This has been amazing!!!! Everyone was so great. I am so glad and happy that I decided to do this. This has been 20 years in the making. Wish I would have done it sooner. Come and get the consultation if you want to know if you are able to have lasik or not.. The doctor and staff were amazing. Best decision and so happy with this!! Thanks everyone.

I advise against going to this clinic at all; it's like a scam. I had LASIK surgery there with doctor work in this clinic in 2020, and he gave me a lifetime guarantee. Now my eyes are blurry again, just like before. I called them and made an appointment, and they told me the doctor he quit from this clinic and your lifetime guarantee no working any more I told them I have a lifetime guarantee from the clinic, signed by them? but they said sorry we can't do nothing for you

I had Lasik with Whiting Clinic due to the option of lifetime warranty. My vision is not longer 20/20 and I called to schedule consult for a touch-up and was told that the Lifetime Warranty that I purchased is no longer being honored. Incredible that new owners purchasing the clinic would not honor rights of past patients...questionable business move.

Received LASIK from the Whiting Clinic in 2015. Called to learn about getting an enhancement and was told that it is not valid under the new ownership (like many other reviews). Very shady practice by Whiting Clinic. Would recommend thinking twice before using them.

Dr Ligner (sorry if I misspelled) was SUCH an awesome doctor. I was very much not at ease and was terrified of the procedure but he kept me calm and knew exactly what he was doing. My vision went from needing glasses most of the time to now having not just 20/20 but 20/15 vision! The staff was super nice and friendly and the clinic was very clean and well kept. 10/10!
