Scenic Eye Care

My family has gone to Scenic Eye Care for the past 27 years. It does not disappoint. It is a small business with an excellent optometrist. The front desk and fitting crew are polite, friendly and willing to help you in any way possible. It is a small business so you may have to wait your turn for adjustments but it is not a problem. I got my last pair of glasses at Costco and they were less expensive but have proved to be more work than I like; I have to clean them at least 4 times/day because the protective coating attracts dirt/dust/fingerprints/ water/you name it. I won't make that mistake again.

I've been a patient at this clinic for almost 10 years. Dr Blenker provided detailed, thorough care. Rose was great! Sincere attentiveness in picking out new frames to fit my needs. I feel very cared for and lucky it's so close to home.

This was simply one of the best, if not the best, customer service experiences I've ever had. High-quality products, advanced technology plus staff that was experienced and intuitive. It was clear that they wanted to make sure I got the perfect pair of glasses. My highest praise and I urge everyone to get your eye care here. I also love that it is supporting a local small business.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful! I'm always nervous walking in with my sons broken glasses but with a welcoming staff always willing to help with no hesitation makes everything 10x better.

We went here for eye tests and glasses. I chose Scenic Eye Care because it's close to home, but the optometrist and all the staff are great. They've got a large selection of frames, and our glasses arrived earlier than expected. This will definitely be our regular eye clinic from now on.

The doctor was amazing! I had to be in a court review on zoom long story! But she was so great! And the other employees there where so very sweet! They helped me to the best of their abilities! To the check in and the exam to getting glasses and the knowledge they had about lenses and the different coatings and things my insurance covers that could be extra charges but we're already on the lenses they made me feel very welcome I had gotten a pair of cocoons my boyfriend and I the earlier in the month! And they where very nice!

Dr. Blenker was great! I enjoyed using the imagery and not having my eyes dilated. The front desk and billing staff were so kind as well.

I've been a patient at this eye clinic for at least 15 years. But the practice has been sold, and I can no longer recommend it. There is a new doctor, Julie Blenker, and completely new staff at this location. I'd say 140 of the positive reviews are for the previous doctors, such as Dr Gould who is no longer there. The friendly, helpful office staff is no longer there. The experienced opticians are also gone. Over the past year, the office staff "lost my appointment" three times. I made the appointment, but then somehow I wasn't in their system when I arrived. Since it had happened twice before, I called to confirm before I went and was assured I had an appointment for today. I show up, and it happened again. Only this time the doctor also accused me of not showing up for an appointment earlier in the month, which I never made. What an unbelievable mess! When I wouldn't accept any blame for missing an appointment I never made, the doctor then had the gall to try to blame the "automated text system," when it's obviously her own staff. It was so frustrating, I felt like I was in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David. I could go into other issues, but I'll just leave it at that. It's not worth the unprofessional hassle to go to this eye clinic anymore. I look forward to scheduling an appointment at a different clinic where I can see the doctor at the time the appointment was scheduled. That will be refreshing.
