St. Paul Eye Clinic

I recently had cataract surgery, performed by Dr. Stanek of the St. Paul Eye Clinic. The surgery went quickly and well (no complications) and I am very pleased with the outcome. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Dr. Stanek and his staff at the clinic. Dr. Stanek is a kind man with great communication skills. I also appreciate the clinic's multiple locations. Had my surgery in Woodbury but was able to schedule the follow up visits at a clinic location (Lexington and Grand in St. Paul) that was very convenient for me.

Super personable and honest. I appreciated the fact he said, you can spend hundreds on glasses if you want, but you can get a lot cheaters for the same price. And it's really all you need! Then was forthcoming about eye drops, spend the money on good ones. Again, appreciate the matter of factness.

Jill was so helpful when I popped in with a question regarding my Mom's prescription. My Mom had dementia and Jill was so kind and empathetic in helping me sort my issue and questions. Her professionalism and courteous assistance will make us loyal to St. Paul Eye Clinic Grand Ave. Highly recommend. Thank you, Jill.

This clinic lied to me that they had a neuro -optometrist. They had the appointment set up and everything. I was under the complete impression that I was seeing a neuro doctor when in fact I was just seeing a regular OD. Complete waste of money. I was scammed to and lied to just so they could get my business. On top of that, they misdiagnosed me because I later went to the RIGHT doctor and was diagnosed with the thing they said I didn't have! You can't make this stuff up. I also heard from a doctor that insurance companies send their clients there when they need the eye doctor to lie about things and submit faulty claims. I confronted them about my issue, and THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO ME! Complete liars and scammers that have no interest in your eye health and just take your money. This institution needs to be under serious investigation.

Absolutely best! He is always concerned and attentive to everything going on with my eyes. I've had issues with one of my eyes and he acted on it immediately! Great guy!

I asked what the cost of a standard eye exam is they walked me in circles when I told them I am paying cash finally the person at the front desk gave me the cash price at 590.00!! for an standard eye exam! So I realize they are clearly trying to take advantage of me and if they quoted me the insurance price that is still wild!

Wonderful experience. In and out for a full eye exam including prescription in well under an hour. Staff is very efficient with going from the near/far testing to the doctor coming in after you are dilated. Very appreciative of how I was treated and can tell the staff is well trained and happy with what they do.

Dr. Kelly provides exceptional care. At each appointment she explains what is happening with my eyes and answers all of my questions. During my first visit with her about 15 years ago, she noticed a rare condition with my left eye a mere 5 seconds after entering the exam room that two other ophthalmologists had overlooked!
