Wallerich Eye Care

Dr. Wallerich is fantastic. He caught an issue that St. Paul Eye missed and gave me a thorough exam and updated prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Wallerich and will continue to see him for my eye exams going forward. Five stars!

I had to get yr check up an last place scewed up eyeglass RX. I was in Target an went into Optical dept. I am so thankful to meet Dr Wallerich. He referred me to great surgeon for my cataracts. An now being followed by him fo complication of cataract surgery in Oct, double vision. So seeing him at his Swoop Eye Clinic in Richfield, to create lenses to help my balance. 3rd set now an feel working! If you have a problem w your eyes,see him!!!! The Best!

He's an efficient provider but still delivers a comprehensive exam. All minds were clear when I left his office which, unfortunately, is not a feeling one always gets when leaving a medical provider's office. So, thank you very much!

I had a similar experience to Brandon Sullivan a few posts below. I have astigmatism and the multifocal contacts Dr Wallerich prescribed to me are -3.50 for my left eye and -4.25 for my right eye. I am 59 years old and have seen many different eye drs over my lifetime and my script has always been between -5.50 and -.625 for distance. Dr Wallerich told me every doctor I have ever seen before him over those 46 years was wrong and my contacts were too strong. However, I could SEE out of those contacts. I can't see a thing distance-wise with a -3.50 for distance (the -4.25 isnt great but I can see some distance). I wont bother to order glasses with the script he gave me as I dont want to pay since everything is so wrong. It's very dangerous for me to drive at night like this so I try to limit that as much as I can. Which really sucks now that it gets dark at 4PM. The office staff aren't great at answering emails for questions. I'm waiting my time out til I can go to a new Dr in January when my vision insurance resets. I wasn't going to post a review but when I saw there were other, recent, reviews stating others also were given prescriptions they cant see out of and the Dr gave the same story about everybody else being wrong and arguing instead of making it right - I decided that I would go ahead. Dr Wallerich, you can be very nice. I hope you decide to listen to some of these recent reviews and try to figure out what is going wrong. Thank you.

Dr. Wallerich is amazing! I have an astigmatism in both eyes and have struggled with getting contacts fit correctly for YEARS, until I started seeing Dr. Wallerich. He is stellar at what he does, I cannot recommend him enough for regular contacts and glasses care :) I feel very cared for and attended to. He is thoughtful about options he presents as it pertains to cost and quality. So grateful for him and his team!

Loved it! Great customer service and time was spent with me during my appointment. I wasn't sure what glasses to get and I was supported by the staff to pick out a pair I am so excited for!
