Antiquated practice and antiquated surgical procedure, staff does not introduce themselves nor explain what they are doing or why, staff seems rushed and angry, typical wait time to be seen is 4 hours for an appointment, too many patients are booked in one day (both surgery and regular appointments), one cannot ask questions over the phone and thus will be charged an office appointment to come in to ask... I had one cataract surgery done here and was horrified with the experience, the outcome, and the cost. I had my other eye done by another doctor and... I can only say I was right to feel horrified. The experience, the care, the cost, and the recovery time between the two was night and day. I believe Dr. Hogan probably had a good reputation on The Coast at one time and is probably a good surgeon within the old practice norms he follows but... he is overbooked, his staff is surly and explain nothing unless asked, and his surgical practice is "old." I would not choose to go here unless it is the only practice covered by your insurance.

I'm sure he's a great doctor because this is what he does all day long. But the waiting is ridiculous. You got a lot of elderly people in there for follow-up visits. And to wait 2 hours to 3 hours for your turn is unacceptable. Somebody told me that since Medicare doesn't pay that much for these procedures then he has to stack his Client List every day to make enough money. I have my own doctors too I never have to wait this long and I think it's really unfair

This place has gone downhill. You wait for an hour with an overly full waiting room full of elderly people, then get seen by nurses who are impatient with you, unprofessional talking bad about their coworkers, get attitude with you because you try to get comfortable for their tests because they won't adjust the bench to your height, etc. JUST to be put back in the waiting room for another 1-2 hours to see the doctor! It's a terrible experience and not worth wasting my day. Will find another doctor!

All the staff are kind and patient. Dr. Hogan is an excellent doctor. He is soft spoken, he explains the results clearly not causing any alarming condition. I will recommend Dr. Hogan to my family and friends.

The physicians at this location are top notch. My mother has had complications with glaucoma and has seen Dr. Edward Langlow for 15 years. It has been a blessing that he rotates to this location as he works out of Louisiana and I have to take off work to drive and pick her up from appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Al-Hariri for any type of oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Hogan is also very masterful at cataracts surgery , although he is very soft spoken so if you are hearing impaired you may want to bring a family member or crank up the volume on your hearing aid. I give the office three stars though because of the way it is run. Prepare to wait a very long time to see the doctor (this happens at other local opthalmologist offices though). If you are diabetic or get low blood sugar please bring a snack. This has not changed for many years of their business. They also have frequent staff turn over which can sometimes be frustrating. Better management would help my rating at this location.

Dr Tomsik saw my elderly mother in July and he scheduled her for a specialist to see her today November 19th at noon. Well that specialist was Dr Hogan. A new doctor to both mother and I - one we've never met before. Dr Hogan's office called and left message on my voice mail yesterday. I didnt see it until after working all day which was after clinic hours by then. I immediately called them back and was happy to have their after hours answering service lady answer my call. Didn't know they had an answering service lady. I asked lady if I could still confirm mothers appointment even though the office was closed. The lady said yes. I gave lady mothers name and date of birth, then proceeded to confirm appointment time with her for today. I told her I would be there with mother at appointment time. Then she said the appointment was at Dr Hogan's office in Gulfport verses going to Dr Tomsik office in Moss Point. I told her thank you because I thought the appointment was in Moss Point. She continued on and gave me Gulfport address and explained where it is located. Well we arrived right at 1144am today and walked in some 5 minutes later into Dr Hogan's office in Gulfport. You can imagine what they said when I tried to check mother in with their receptionist. The receptionist said Mothers appointment is in Moss Point right now at Dr Tomisk location with Dr Hogan and if I hurried, we could still make it in Moss Point before Dr Hogan arrived. I thought are you kidding me? We are in Gulfport right now and they want me to turn around and drive to other side of Moss Point after we drove nearly an hour in traffic to get here from where we live. Dr Hogan's office takes no responsibility for giving me incorrect location for mothers appointment. We wasted time and money going to Gulfport for nothing today. We will find mother a new doctor.

There are two different places in this one office. There's Hogan's Eye Clinic and then there's also the Hogan surgical Eye Care. It's very convenient to have both these services in the same office building. There is no website though.

Great Doctor, Great Staff, you may have to wait a bit after you sheduled apt. time, But its worth it. I can SEE why he is sought after.
