Southern Vision Center

I have been to this center four times. A minimum wait was one hour beyond appointment. Average is two or more hours past appointment. Twice I have walked out without being seen. Once I was advised that I should have set aside four hours. Technically the people are good. I shall not be going back. Anyone know of a good ophthalmologist?

We had a 10:30 cataract surgery scheduled and here it is 2:43 and still waiting. How do they think this practice is ok? That is completely disrespectful in my opinion!! When we have a follow up appointment should we show up at least 4 to hours late?

had my lasik follow up appts here with dr kiper nelson after having my surgery at SEC in hattiesburg! great experience & highly recommend dr nelson! very knowledgeable surgeon & intentional care! can't thank him enough!

I have seen both Dr. Tucker and Dr. Nelson on multiple occasions and have been extremely satisfied with their knowledge and professionalism! I am extremely happy with my care I have received from them.

I'm not going complain about the service, my cataract surgery went well. But they don't do a very good job at explaining cost to patients. My cost for cataract surgery would have been zero, however they quoted me a price and while I thought it was my out of pocket cost for cataract surgery it was actually the cost of taking care of the astigmatisms in my eyes. And then they want me to use a particular eye drops so I'm paying for the eye drops and I give them my credit card and only after they ran this credit card did she tell me that I would be charged for 4 months, and will be receiving four bottles of this I drop. I made it very clear to her that I would not be receiving four bottles of these drops, and that I would call and cancel at least three of those orders.

This is no kind of a business. Waiting for over 4 hrs to be seen. The people who are nice enough to bring someone to appt. can't leave the parking lot. What if someone was late 4hrs for appointment!

I seen Dr. Nelson he was very nice and professional. He explained everything and his office staff was wonderful too. Thanks.

I brought my father to his first time appointment for 3:15 and at 4:45 they finally called his name to be seen, and then 10 minutes later they sent him back to the waiting room and we waited for another 30 minutes.. all for nothing we had to reschedule.. if the owner doesn't make some major changes I doubt this place will be in business much longer
