After not getting my prescription right after couple of times, they decided to take away my bifocals. So after six trips (gass@time missing work) no glasses and they refused a refund. I have been wearing glasses since I was six years old and have never experienced anything like this before. Correction, Gibson Optical gave me my out of pocket money back on my lenses and I have documentation. Laurel eye clinic refused to refund my insurance company when I asked. Later that day I did a 3-way call with the clinic and my insurance company, they still refused a refund. Now when I go to a different clinic to get glasses I have no insurance coverage, it will be all out of pocket. Gibson was the only one being accommodating even though he has nothing to do with the eye clinic repeatedly messing up my prescription.

I was traveling through Laurel and I went into Laurel Eye Clinic when one of the nose pads broke, one of the techs took my glasses and repaired the nose pad and then tightened and aligned to rest of my glasses, and there was no charge.

As a new patient and new to the area, I thought I was booking my appointment at Gibson Optical. My scheduled appointment at Laurel Eye Clinic was a disaster! I was given a devastating diagnosis and the doctor just left the room! Another staff person came back into the room to eescourt me to checkout. I told them I wasn't done and I still had questions! So they sat me back in the room and I was expecting the doctor to come back in but no! Another technician comes back in and still my questions or concerns were not answered! You just don't drop a devastating diagnosis on a patient and leave! I lost a my potential job offer that I have worked very hard for towards over the last 8 months! Days later, I get a call from them that they went ahead and scheduled my eye surgery with Southern Eye Center without my knowledge or permission! I said I'm not ready and I'd like to make a consult appointment, research the doctor, facility and other facilities to make sure I'm 100% comfortable with my decision. The staff members answer was "you can call them to cancel". I'm sorry, you went ahead and scheduled it, you can call to cancel it. Maybe I'm not used to the medical field down here, but "y'all" got a lot to learn about how to treat the person, not just the patient!

Received 2 "bills" from Franklin Collection Service charging me $120 and $185 for services that I did not receive. I have not been to this clinic for 3 years and have always paid in cash before. My recent prescription is from JINS eyewear and that was 2 years ago as of late. Nice to know they sent a collection firm to send me a notice in which I did not partake any services in. See yall in court.
