The girls at the front desk are my fave!!! So polite and helpful. Dr. Norwood took care of me and was super informative. Which is highly uncommon most times they just hand you a prescription and send you on your way. Not here the explained everything to me every step of the way. I have taken my daughter there as well she used and loved Dr. Ware! Will definitely be visiting them again when it's time for my husbands appointment!

Let me start this by saying, I love Dr. Ware and his associate. We've been coming to them for 5 plus years, both for myself and my children! I've never been to his office without his staff being just awesome. That is until this last visit,Unfortunately. The front desk receptionist scolded me for taking too long filling out the update paperwork,which had the lady been clear and not spoke so fast I would not have filled out the part she didn't want me too.(keep in mind I had two children to fill out for) You don't scold your customers ever!!! Then they wouldn't let both of my kids go back together. I had to leave one sitting in the lobby!! I've never taken both at the same time before, so I didn't bring another person with me. That won't happen again. Had I known about that policy I would have scheduled the appointments separate. The lady that helped one of my daughters was rude and lacked the patenience to do some of the examination properly and just gave up, like oh well it doesn't matter. My other daughter's tech was awesome. The doctor is so good that by the time we left I wasn't so upset. We went next door to pick out glasses. They are super fast within an hour we were back to pick up . When we came back there was a sign on the door "this office closed at 4pm." Earlier in the glass place they were wrapping a present. There were people walking into the dr's office. My guess they were having a party of some sort, they yelled at me and hurried us along so they could set up what appeared to be a party.. So un- professional. I don't want to change my eye doctor, but I refuse to let myself or my kids be treated rudely or as a inconvenience....

I chose this clinic because they accepted my vision insurance. Dr. Ware was okay, but his staff was not. One particular lady comes across as rude. I was not allowed to go back to the exam room with my child because "the rooms are small, so there's just not enough room". When Dr. Ware finished my child's exam, he found me in the waiting room and discussed the resuts in the presence of other patients. So much for the privacy act. I won't be back.

I was given a 9AM appointment. I showed up at 8:45, being a new patient I knew I would have new patient paperwork to complete. As I approached the front door, an employee walks up and locked the door. Then she tells me they don't open until 9. There was an elderly couple who walked up. It's cold and had been raining. They go in and left us outside. At 8:58, I left. Still had not been let in. I called the clinic to let them know and explain how unprofessional that was, I was shrugged off. Told they had to vaccum before opening up. I was annoyed about being left out in the cold but outraged they saw the elderly couple who walked up from across the parking lot and didn't offer to let them in.

It's been years since I had an eye exam. Receptionist and doctor were polite. Eye exam was very quick. (The last one was back home in Illinois and they took their time and made sure I had the right prescription.) When I had to read the letters and couldn't the lady told me to try and guess. (Kind of defeats the purpose of an eye exam.) I feel like my prescription isn't as strong as my old one and the eye exam itself was a joke. Will be going somewhere else next time.

Dr Norwood is the best!! Our family has seen Dr Norwood for many many years. She cares about her patients and it shows!! She's excellent with kids. She's our optimologist for life!!

I went to this place bc I failed an eye exam for a job and wanted contacts. The woman did my eye exam with only 3 slides under 5 minutes. The contacts were blurry and they told me that was normal at first but it continued that way for 4 days. I called and they told me to come pick up my "right" prescription and if this doesn't work then I can't get contacts. That prescription was worse. I insisted that they give me another eye exam bc I failed the one for the job and she said "Well maybe you should get Toyota to write your prescription." in the rudest way possible. I have bipolar disorder and waking up to this being my first conversation triggered the hell out of me. She kept gaslighting me and I don't understand why they wouldn't just check my eyes again. This place is trash and believe all the comments about them being rude.

Wonderful place! Could not ask for a better place to have your eyes checked. The staff and doctors are very nice. They are great to me and my daughter.
