Desoto Eye Care

I've had a very disappointing experience with Desoto Eye Care, Southaven. I left my glasses in the office during a visit, and when I called shortly after, I was told they were not found and that the office did not have cameras to review. At my next appointment, I saw multiple cameras throughout the building, which was confusing and concerning. My glasses were never returned. I also requested my contact lens prescription several times over the past week so I could order replacement lenses. I provided my email each time, but I didn't receive anything until several days later after multiple follow-up calls. I'm sharing this to describe my experience: the inconsistent communication and lack of responsiveness made the entire process far more stressful than it needed to be. I also noticed a sudden influx of very similar 5-star reviews around the time I posted mine, which raised some concerns for me about the reliability of the overall ratings. Based on what I experienced, I would recommend considering other eye care providers if you're looking for reliability and follow-through.

Very friendly & helpful staff. The doctor was good and thorough. Only downside is that I wish they had more options for glasses.

Victoria was awesome today. Very informative, helpful and sweet. She answered all of my questions. She wasn't rushing me and allowed me to take my time on making a decision on which lenses I needed for my daughter.

Victoria was very helpful in picking out some new frames. The entire office was friendly and efficient. I'll gladly return yearly to see these wonderful ladies.

My experience went seamlessly from booking my appointment to completing my exam. The young lady that started my process was kind, efficient, and pleasant. My wait was not long before I was seen by Dr. M. Bifano. I believe he may be new to the group but he was absolutely great! He was very thorough and he actually explained things to me! Terrific bedside manner! I have to return to choose frames but that was my request. Victoria so nicely just responded that it would be fine for me to do that! I will not only return to choose my frames but I will definitely be back for my future exams. I hope Dr. Bifano continues to be there!

The front desk was amazing and very helpful. Dr Hooker was very informative and explained everything to where I could understand. I ordered glasses and the tech was so kind and helpful. I this place!!!

My husband and I are new to the area and decided to check out Desoto Eyecare. We had a very disappointing experience at Desoto Eye Care, primarily due to the rude behavior of the front desk clerk, Stacy. From the moment we walked in, she was unfriendly and unhelpful. Her dismissive attitude made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Come to think of it all of the women at the desk were not customer oriented, it almost gave racist vibes! As someone who values good customer service, this was a major letdown. It's unfortunate that such an important role is filled by someone who doesn't seem to care about the patients or the reputation of the practice. I hope the management addresses this issue so that future patients don't have to endure the same poor treatment. My husband went through with his appointment, however, I chose not to patronize, and will make my purchase elsewhere.
