Dr Blackmer and Dr Hautot are wonderful. They are patient and thorough. Dr Hautot even had to meet us at his office on a holiday due to an accidental eye injury during off hours. The office staff are also great with kids. I highly recconend this office for all eye care needs.

I have been going to Dr. Blackmer for years and now that's over. I recently went in for a routine ck up and was charged for refraction test which I found out was charged without me knowing that was extra. No one tell's you this and I dont buy eye glasses. Point being I gave my card as I usually do when I walk in only to find out that the refraction test after the visit is out of network! Front desk said I haven't had that done in yrs and I know I have it done every year. And not of for it. No one said certain test are not covered. and the front doesn't know what the back is doing so no one knows what a routine exam is? No one talks to each other and the customer (me) and others are being charged. Only do what I'm in for not more ! Bad communication and like someone else said assistants are very impersonal. Sorry but customer service and info is no more. I'm done goodbye Picayune eye clinic.
