Optical 2000 of Richland Pa

I arrived at 12:30pm to pick up contact lenses for my sister only to be greeted with a locked door and a sign stating that they close from 12-1 daily for lunch! It sure would have been nice to know that before I drove up here, now I'm sitting here waiting for 30 minutes in your parking lot feeling like an idiot! Your hours were incorrect online. You are not open from 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Thu, you are open from 8:30am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-5:30pm Mon-Thu. I submitted an edit with Google for your store hours to be corrected, and they just fixed it. If only they were right in the first place, it would have saved me a whole lot of inconvenience!

I've been using this company since I was very young and I am now 30 years old. I always went to the much nicer Clinton location until this year I tried Richland. I bought contacts at my last visit and specified I wanted the smallest order of dailies. I did not know that they did not charge me in full until I got a bill for $100 in the mail! Sorry, but y'all should've billed me while I had the money in my pocket in office as here I am with a newborn 9 months later! Y'all didn't even try to reach out to me by phone before sending it to a collection agency. I can assure you that you'll get your money eventually, but I am highly disappointed in how unfriendly the actions here are and I will be sure to get my eyes checked elsewhere from now on. Why would you not charge me what I owed when I did not ask to pay partial?? Ridiculous. Seeing these other negative reviews I'm now realizing the regular incompetence here.

Olivia was so refreshing & warm to do business with. I felt soo welcomed with her. She is truly sweet & very friendly. I'll definitely come back for her. She made me really comfortable.

The doctors are always helpful and polite, and the staff is always friendly. I'm usually in and out in about 30 minutes. They are always good about confirming appointments and calling when contacts are ready for pickup. I definitely recommend Optical 2000.

I worked as an optician for 10 years. Doctors and opticians make errors and fix them. My prescription by Dr. Panky was incorrect. The frame was very poor quality and the lens was not cut correctly. I ordered top of the line and received glasses that are useless to me. Made many trips back to the office and finally realized they were not competent to get it right. They advertise they will make it right. ... only if you pay more and hope they will. Very dissatisfied. Couldn't find the no star button.

My wife and both my kids went there last week for an exam. The Dr. wrote prescriptions for my wife and one of my sons. Wen the glasses came back a few days later both of the prescriptions were wrong. Both were wrong in the left eye. So now we have to go and get new exams done at another office so we can have the correct glasses. And to top it off they billed the wrong insurance somehow. We called around and have found out that this has been an ongoing problem with this office. So if you need glasses do not go here or you will be spending a lot of money on a prescription that you don't need.

1/22/2015 Awesome staff & very friendly we have never had any problems with my families glasses or contacts we have been using this office for years and never once have a any problems my kids love the staff and they are always so sweet with them and understanding when my daughter is freaking out. Thanks optical 2000 in Richland for always being so great with my family

I got glasses there last year, still great. Husband just got some new glasses this week, and he loves them Professional staff, great selection, I highly recommend.
