Cheatham Eye Care

Always Professional when you enter. Dr. Cheatham is awesome! I have been going here for years. I started going after I took my Grand daughter. She has an eye disease. However, her eyes are doing great. He is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise.

I'm basing my review score on my recent interaction with the staff at this location and I believe that customer service goes beyond in person, face to face interaction. I was called by someone at this location on September 14 to update my insurance information and the person I spoke with was rude even after I told her I was in Birmingham at a doctors appointment. I asked if I could possibly call her back and although she agreed, she was too excited about it. I then called my coworker to get the number to the insurance company because they don't issue cards. I called, got my member ID number and called back with the information. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, September 15, and the person that checked me in was rude when I asked if I could have my drivers license back. She said I could get it back after I filled out my privacy information. But the young woman that assisted me with picking out my frames was friendly and helpful! Katie greeted me and asked if she could help me with my choices. She really made my somewhat unpleasant visit better!!!! I chose to return to this location because the doctor is already familiar with my eye disease and I trust him to give me the best care!!!

This facility was recommended by my coworker as opposed to going to Walmart to purchase my prescription glasses. They made everything extremely easy for me. There was even a lady who could look at my face and tell what kind of glasses looked good on me. She did so well it was hard for me to just pick one pair. They were very friendly and informative and they have a great selection of frames to choose from. I wish I had known about them before I ordered my children's glasses elsewhere!

Dr. Cheatham is beyond the greatest eye doctor. He is great with children as well. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The frame and lens variety is very large as well.

I am so thankful for Dr. Cheatem. He looked in my eyes and knew there was something viscous lurking that was destroying me inside out. He figured out something the doctors (specialist at that) haven't in my whole life. He is doing his part for sure. If Doctors cared like he does for his patients then I think the whole medical scene would be different. ( in a good way)

Office staff was extremely helpful to quickly resolve issue when contacts were accidentally left at our home in another state. So very thankful for their willingness to help!

I enjoyed it alot, got some great glasses, can't wait till they come in. Dr. Chatham is the best.

I've had a piece of metal in my eye and another piece of junk I picked up from running chainsaw and on both occasions I've called up to Dr Cheathams office as soon as they've opened and they have worked me in in less than a hour.
