The staff is so friendly! Dr E really helped me when no one else could. I would definitely recommend her and the entire Blue Springs Optical staff to anyone.

Came from Holden for my appointment. Ran into some traffic problems and was running late. Thought I would be nice and let them know that I would be between 5 and 10 minutes late. They cancelled my appointment and wanted me to reschedule. I was only 3 miles away! Don't understand why they could not take the next appointment in front of me. I realize that I should not be late, but stuff happens. I am very disappointed and aggravated with there handling of my situation. This was a postoperative visit. I will be going elsewhere from now on, so they just lost this customer for good.

The doctor and staff were very courteous and professional, and I appreciated their friendly manner during my visit. However, I do wish there had been clearer communication regarding the additional contact lens training fee. The unexpected $160 charge was not included in my budget, and I later learned that most insurance plans do not cover this service. I had been looking forward to using my vision insurance to finally get contact lenses, but because of this additional cost, I was only able to purchase a six-month supply instead of a full year. It would be helpful if service pricing were listed on the website for greater transparency. I also felt there was a consistent effort to upsell additional products and services, which detracted somewhat from the overall experience.

I never knew going to an eye appointment would mean getting your appointment canceled because you did not arrive at the recommended time, but rather your appointment time. I have had enough with the people who run this eye clinic and the other location in Raytown. My daughter appointment was scheduled for 1:50pm 10/06/2025 they recommended us to arrive before the scheduled time, to fill out paperwork! Which she is not a new patient! I'm not sure what paperwork she would have to fill out to say the least! We drove 30 minutes to get to the eye appointment. So as I parked, me and my children get out the car, walked into the eye clinic and I'm talking to the receptionist. I gave her my child name and she tells me my appointment was canceled because I was supposed to be there 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. She said we were expecting you at 1:40 (that 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment time, not 15 minutes as she stated) I then showed her my phone where the schedule time was sent to me and I said no we are here on time. I said in the message you sent to me said no where to be here at 1:40pm, the confirmation text only had the time 1:50pm. This lady tells me well it is now 1:55pm and your late, I asked you all only give out a 5 minute grace period? She said yes. The location in Raytown, Mo did the same exact thing, but to make that situation worse they called me and asked if I could come in early because a provider had to leave early. I wasn't able to come in early, and came at my schedule time, they had real bad construction right by the building, and I was not aware of, I'm outside the office I just couldn't past the traffic, I had been going to that location for years. They canceled my appointment too because I was 5 minutes late. And told me the provider had left 30 minutes prior to my arrival. That's why I went to a different location, now I see a different picture. It's not about me being late. I don't know what this is about, all I can say is this is not best practice and very unethical! I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau and filing a formal complaint.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I was a new patient and upon getting my glasses adjusted the optician broke the lenses in my only pair of glasses. They claimed because they did not originally make the glasses they could not be held responsible for the damage, offering a patient with -5.00 rx no solutions to fixing them. Except to use my own benefits to fix the glasses they broke. It's not even legal for me to drive without glasses and they broke my only pair. I would not trust them.

Has been there for years. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else. They found wet macular degeneration with their state of the art computerized equipment and got me same week retina specialist which normally takes a year to get in. Explained in a way that I could understand.

If you want to go to an eye doctor and don't know where to go, this is the place for you. The doctors and staff are great. You are treated with all the kindness you want during your visit. Their knowledge of eye care is fantastic. They listen to you and care about all your needs.

Everyone is always friendly and knowledgable. I've never waited past my appointment time and I really love Dr. Enevoldson.
