I can't say enough good things about this office. Everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and compassionate while helping my dad during his eye exam, getting new glasses and fixing his current ones while waiting for the new ones. The doctor took the time to work with him and was very patient, which meant a lot to our family. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure my parents were comfortable and taken care of. You can really tell they care about their patients and treat people with kindness and respect. We truly appreciated the extra effort and support they showed. Highly recommended!

It was my first appt at America's Best contacts n eyeglasses. I was greeted politely. The exam was amazing and helpful to understand wat I really needed. Then the doctor helped explain everything to me. Heather was super awesome she helped me find the right frames and prescription and made sure it was covered by my insurance. *EDIT UPDATED* So my glasses ended up coming in earlier than expected, 1 week from my exam and i was really pleased with the results of how my glasses turned out and the speed in which they came in. Still don't have contacts but i did receive an email that the trials have been shipped. I never had a problem with staff they were all friendly and helpful so I'm bumping up a couple stars. I will go back in the future. my first time going there Doctor Wheeler gave a quick and what I felt like was a good an thorough eye exam. Some wires must have got crossed because I specifically told them I wanted glasses and contacts multiple times before and during my appointment but was told that the doc wasn't informed about my interest in contacts and that he was out to lunch and they would set me up later. My order is already met with delays so already not as quick as other places I've been to. Somewhat disappointed already, I might add a star or two depending on how the glasses turn out when I eventually get them.

I had a glasses exam a few years ago, and it went well. The doctor was warm, and overall did a great exam, answered questions and had no issues with my prescription. When I returned for a contact prescription recently, it was so rushed that I had to keep asking to flip back bc I couldn't tell the difference between 1 and 2 with how quick he was flipping. There was no questions about what I wanted or what kind or brand of lenses I was used to wearing. I caught the guy ordering my samples and requested one a days. My prescription somehow got less strong? That's never happened in the 26 years I have had a prescription. But instead of checking my eyes again, they wanted me to try different contacts. The first set I couldn't see out of, called them, they said they would get back to me and never did. I called a week later, and they had ordered new ones. After a test run of the new kind, I decided they would work, since even though I cant see out of them very well, I don't wear my contacts often enough for it to fully matter. I called to see what brand they were (all samples were given in unbranded boxes), and to get my prescription so I could order. All samples they gave me were their branded product but I wasn't made aware of that at the time of the samples being given. The also claimed its a HIPAA violation to give contact prescriptions over the phone, so I would have to return in person (again) to get the prescription that they wouldn't give me the other 3 visits I was there. Overall, I'm disappointed in the customer service, and wont return. The 3 stars is due to the first visit being good. The last visit should receive zero stars.

Dr. Was not very patient, and not a good listener! I wore glasses a long time, and they were not right. Staff put my old glasses in machine, and the new glasses too. They commented that the the prescription was a drastic change for just being a year since I had exam. Had to redo exam. Dr. Commented that the prescription was slightly off.....okaaaay!! Both visits, no one cared to see if they fit properly, not once! The staff should visit other eyeglass stores, to learn how you give GREAT customer service!! I will not be back to this store!!!

UPDATE: I emailed the response from the business as instructed. They reached out ONCE asking for my phone number 6 days ago. I have not received a call or email! My glasses were junk and of course were not right. I hope my review helps others save money, time and the frustration that came with this business. NEVER AGAIN! The staff were very friendly, however the doctor, DR. MITCHELL is INCOMPETENT beyond belief! First of all as I was getting my eyes examined looking through the device I expressed that the the lenses were extremely foggy he raises his voice LOOK AT THE TOP like I couldn't hear him! I said sir I think there's something wrong with the lenses, I am unable to see anything. He gets up pulls the machine back and said , ohhhhhhh let me clean that. WHAT???? YOU DIDN'T CLEAN THAT FROM THE LAST CLIENT?? After that, we start again. At this point, it's super uncomfortable. He didn't say much after, and sent me to the waiting area to pick my glasses. 9 DAYS LATER, my glasses are in and I arrive to get them. GUESS WHAT??? NOT CORRECT. I have always been -.75 and now he has one eye at -.75 and the other +.75 I tell them I can't see out of these. She was perplexed and I handed her my old glasses. She scans them and says maybe he mistakenly put + instead of -. So I make ANOTHER appt for second exam. And wouldn't you know it, SAME DR. He tells me to wear them for a week and my eyes will adjust. I FIRMLY TELL HIM, I AM NOT ABLE TO SEE AND CAN NOT RISK THAT. I INSIST ON ANOTHER EXAM. He reluctantly gives the exam, turns around to his computer and said "I'm updating the script and you will need trifocals, they will explain, go have a seat" The gentleman calls me and said we will call you when they are ready" I said wait, hold on, can I have my updated script? He prints it out and hands it to me. I walk out, look at the script and now BOTH EYES NEGATIVE. I never heard I'm sorry for the inconvenience, NO APOLOGY, NO THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING, no talk about trifocals, NO EXPLANATION AT ALL. At this point, I'm really leary these next pair will be correct!!! So, I'll update in 7 -10 days when my new glasses are ready.

I drove up from Arkansas just to come to this America's Best Branson location. Morgan, the Manager of the store, greeted me and subsequently helped me choose the right glasses and options thereof. She could not have been more processional, friendly, kind, helpful, and genuinely concerned that I was getting the right frames and lens options for my new eyeglasses. I sincerely appreciate her spending the time with me and answering all my questions that I had. If you need glasses, I highly recommend that you go see Morgan!
