I really like Dr Koester and appreciate her expertise. However, the rest of my experience left much to be desired as they didn't have the trial contacts available that I needed. It took 6 trips to Clarkson to finally get my contacts ordered. The pricing was also clever in that the quote said $200 rebate but in reality it was "up to" and my rebate was only for $100. They seemed very confident in presenting $200 as more of a fact.

Dr. Koester has been my optometrist for many years, and I truly appreciate how much she cares about my eye health. Because she has consistently been my doctor, she understands how my prescription has changed over time and always takes the time to explain what we can do to keep my vision where it needs to be.
Just as importantly, the entire staff makes every visit a great experience. Sarah, Alyssa, Denise, and Laura are all wonderful--friendly, attentive, and supportive at every step of the process. They genuinely make me feel cared for.
I won't go anywhere else for my eye care, and I only wish my experiences with other healthcare providers were this positive.

October 23, 2025. I arrived at 9 o'clock at Clarkson Eyecare.. I was having a procedure done and from day one the staff and the doctor have been nothing but great when you think of customer service do you think of smiling faces, courteous, and helpful in every way well that's the staff here Clarkson Eyecare, and the doctor as well. Reena, Samantha,Crystal,Dr. Joseph Gira Are top notch. Thanks for making my procedure today so enjoyable you are all a bunch of great fun people to be around. Love to see this in a work environment. Dr Koester and all the staff are amazing. Unfortunately, I don't remember the ladies name that helped me with my glasses. She was so nice. She had the best laugh too. I really appreciate all her help and patience when I had to pick a different pair of glasses for the second pair, because the frames were $400. I hope she receives recognition for a job well done.

Chose this Clarkson because my location was booked for months. The front receptionist were very personable. I think Destiny might have been her name who took my images and recommended I try contacts again. The doctor was lovely. The entire experience 10/10. I don't usually order glasses in store but fell in love with a pair. They were even able to get them shipped to my closest location once they're finished. Thank you again Clarkson Team!
