Advanced Vision

So disappointed. My first experience with Advanced Vision was great and I was happy to return for an exam a year later. After the exam, I picked out and ordered a new pair of glasses. I was told they would be ready in about two weeks. After a month went by with no word, I called and was told there was a problem with the credit card reader or something that day and the order never went through. They were sorry they forgot to let me know. They would place the order right then and try to put a rush on it. Okay--mistakes happen. Over the next six weeks I called a least a half dozen times to find out where my glasses were. I could see my card had indeed been charged the second time I tried to order. Each time I called, if I even got to speak to someone, I got a different answer. First, that the order was with the lab and should be ready in a few days; then that there was actually a hold up with my insurance but they were definitely coming soon; then that they should be on the truck that day (12/18) and the office would call me as soon the carrier arrived. Today (12/30), with no glasses and no updates from Advanced Vision, I called again and was told they were still at the lab but should arrive on 1/1. I asked the receptionist if she could confirm that because I was skeptical based on the last time I had called. She assured me the optician would call me back with an update as soon as he finished up with another customer. The call never came, so I left work early today so I could go to the office in person and find out what was going on. The receptionist didn't have any more information. The optician was already gone for the day. The receptionist kindly called the optician for me and all he could say was that he called the lab and they hadn't called him back. I finally asked for a refund. I am appalled by the lack of courtesy, professionalism, and communication the Advanced Vision team has shown. It's been two and a half months since I tried to order my glasses. It's been six weeks since they were actually ordered. Advanced Vision has not been proactive or communicative with me in the least about whatever is going on here. I've wasted a ton of time trying to get this sorted out. I am frustrated and disappointed and I have little faith I will receive my refund any sooner--or with less effort--than my glasses. Edit 1/9/26: still no glasses, still no refund

I leave satisfied with my care every time without fail. I've been coming to Advanced Vision since 2019 and have always experienced a kind team, a clean office, and consistent care. Huge shoutout to Dr. Sievers and the entire team for making the eye doctor such a pleasant experience!

Dr. Sievers was attentive and easy to talk to. I arrived a little early, and the friendly technician got my tests started right away. The visit felt efficient yet never rushed, and my insurance was billed correctly. Overall, it was one of the best medical experiences I've ever had.

Were able to get me in super quickly, the process to set up the appointment was smooth through zocdoc. Everyone was super professional and took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had. I would definitely come back here.

I had a problem with my insurance which caused me to pause my appointment but the staff helped make sure that this problem was resolved quickly so that I could continue with my appointment. All the staff were nice and made sure all my needs were met in a timely manner!

I couldn't be happier with the service and courteous assistance from everyone at Advanced Vision. Dr. Iwai was fantastic. He was thorough in his exam and shared photos and explained the results so I could understand. Evie was the person who assisted me in choosing the best Eyewear available. Evie was excellent in her patience while I looked at various glass frames. She was so courteous, pleasant and professional. Evie took her time to ensure that positioning was correct. This was the first time anyone has ever double-checked to make sure that the setting ms were correct. Evie is a perfect representative of Advanced Vision. I will certainly return for all of my eye care needs and to purchase Eyewear.
