I had a very positive experience with the OD at Crown Vision Center. The eye exam was thorough, and I felt well cared for throughout the visit. I'm also very happy with the glasses and contacts I got there.
One area that could be improved is front-desk communication. At times, phone conversations felt rushed and ended quite abruptly. I've also continued receiving frequent calls, voicemails, and messages even after letting the office know I moved out of the area.
Overall, I really appreciate the quality of care from the doctor and hope the communication experience can be improved.

Went for my annual exam with Dr. Woodyard. I've been going here 3 years (since moving back to STL). Dr. Woodyard is very thorough. I wear contacts and the clarity of my vision has improved when he changed my prescription. Today Dr. Woodyard noticed a change with the optic nerve and called my primary doctor to coordinate getting some labs completed. Dr. Woodyard called me this evening to discuss the results of the labs. Excellent follow up and excellent care!

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Crown Vision Creve Coeur. I scheduled an eye appointment and received multiple calls and emails confirming the date and time. However, when I arrived, I was told that my appointment had been canceled without any prior notice. When I asked why, the receptionist couldn't provide any explanation. I had driven 40 minutes to get there, so I asked if they could make an exception, especially since it was their fault the appointment was canceled. She initially told me I could take a 10:40 time slot, which I accepted, only for her to come back and inform me that I was no longer able to get that slot. This business shows zero regard for patient time or satisfaction. I won't be returning.

The glasses I bought from overseas for 10 cents on the dollar are an order of magnitude of better quality.
My Crown's glasses cost $750. The frame alloy is weak and requires constant adjustments. The lenses scratch if you so much as look at them wrong.
Every time I put on my old glasses again I'm amazed at how much better they are, despite their faults. I bought the old ones for about $80.
No complaints about store personnel. They will smile and nod while selling you junk. Optometrist seemed very competent.
I have raised this complaint with store personnel and corporate call center people, they have abdicated their responsibility to provide a merchantable product.
Edit:
I already took advantage of the additional customer service Crown suggested in their response to this review. They asked me to pay even more money to upgrade my glasses to a decent standard.
