GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH VISION CENTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT

All the staff are very kind and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I had a pair of glasses and prescription sunglasses made and i had Tina guiding through the process and she was extremely helpful and is very good at her job. Thank you for my two beautiful pairs of glasses!.

Honestly, everyone that works here should be embarrassed to call themselves medical professionals. I called on a Saturday to see if they had any openings. I was offered a 3:15 and took it. When I showed up for my appointment the staff, including the doctor were packing up to leave. The doctor had a cart full of groceries that she was wheeling out to her vehicle. They said they had no record of my appointment. A vision center employee spoke up and said that she forgot to write it down. They flew through my exam. The doctor wouldn't even talk to me she was in such a hurry. She blew past my medication list and my actual eye prescription bc I needed to pull them up on my phone and she didn't want to wait. After an appointment that took a couple of minutes, I voiced to the doctor multiple times that I could not see in the prescription she had me in. She refused to change it and sent me on my way. Then they had the audacity to try to sell me contacts with a prescription that I can't even see with. All while the doctor is strolling out with her groceries telling everyone goodbye for the night. After this horrific experience, I called other Walmart Vision Centers and customer service. Anything to get this fixed and not have to deal with these people who clearly do not care about anything but going home. I was told flat out that there was nothing anyone could do and that I would just have to go see that doctor again. So I got ahold of them and they told me I could come in after work and I didn't need an appointment. I've been sitting here for over 30 minutes waiting to be helped. I'm glad she's at least giving someone the attention their eyes deserve. Anyway, I just asked to go back to my previous prescription bc I trust that, even though my vision has for sure changed, more than I trust her to make any decisions about my health. I do not EVER leave negative reviews but I really want people to know the type of service provided at DeSoto Walmart Vision Center. Please don't waste your time, money, or eye insurance. You will be stuck in the wrong prescription unless you can afford to pay someone out of pocket to do another exam since most insurance will only cover one exam a year. Please please please do not go here. No one deserves this type of treatment. Oh! And the person sitting next to me in the waiting room had a similar experience to my own.

Barb helped me and my son get the glasses he wanted. She went above and beyond her job. I absolutely love her and can't thank her enough. We need more Barbs in the world.

Was told glasses would be there in two weeks. Called three weeks later and was told they canceled the order. No call, no email. They reordered and came in just a week later. Refused to give me my prescription so I could order glasses and contacts elsewhere. Paid $400. I will never be back to another walmart vision center and I highly recommend going to a real optometrist. Horrible experience all around.

Barb at the vision center was amazing. She spent time with my spouse determining just what he needed. Very knowledgeable in her products. A pleasure to deal with her.

Excellent customer service. Great experience every time and the Dr is top notch. Highly recommended.
