Clarkson Eyecare

The visit was fine. 3 months later said I owed another $500., after paying $150.00 when I was there. Called my insurance company and they said I owed nothing. I shouldn't have paid the $150.00. Insurance company is trying to get $150.00 back. Will never go there again. Thought I would try it because it was close. Will go back to American Best eye care. Look at you bills. There charged $50.00 for tax that should have not be on there.

I have been to this Clarkson eye care three times and each time the same receptionist has been very rude not listening cutting me off on the phone my first appointment with them. They did not add the thinning to my glasses even though I asked multiple times if they were adding it and they told me yes and when I got my glasses, they were not thin. It was very obvious so I had to wait another month for them to send them and fix them which they did try to charge me for that now they are trying to make me get contacts that are not the brand I'm wanting and want me to come back a third time to switch those contacts. The receptionist wouldn't let me speak. She kept cutting me off over and over and then told me if I didn't stop talking she was gonna hang up on me. She's very unprofessional and this same receptionist I saw arguing with other customers while I was at my appointment. I spoke with the manager and she was way better and was very much understanding where this receptionist is extremely rude and even tells you she's gonna hang up on you or she does hang up on you like has happened to me a couple years ago when I was on the phone with her

Drove over an hour for son's appointment and was running ten minutes late due to traffic. I called and let them know. Once I arrived at 11 min past my appointment I was told they have a ten minute policy and have to reschedule. That is just great customer service.

Was rescheduled because the Dr called out sick or something and already wasn't thrilled with that, didn't find out until day of that I wouldn't be having my appointment when I specifically carved out time for it. Well I finally get my rescheduled appointment and my experience was... less than stellar. It was just a routine eye exam so it's hard to really mess that up but, I don't know how else to say this, Dr Duncan had some questionable hygiene. Just generally unkempt and while I was in the chair and he sat across from me I thought I was going to pass out. You would think if your job was sitting in peoples faces all day you'd brush your teeth and shower. I hate to be so critical and even bring it up but it was... a lot. I won't be returning between that and the sudden reschedule.

I would not recommend clarkson eye care in festus mo. To anyone I was there today 10-25-25 I had a 9:40 appointment did not see the dr. Until 10:30 was told three different reasons why the doctor was late then I was rushed out dr.said he called in RX but he didn't I had to call the office again for my RX this is the second time I had to wait all most a hour to see the dr.

Paige helped me with a problem with my insurance a made my bill a lot cheaper when no one else wanted to do the work before where I went to try and fix it. I rly appreciate this location for their respect and hard work

Great doctor, horrible front desk lady. Was given a prescription for contacts that I never tried! Called to let them know the Rx given wasn't the same as my trials I've been wearing for 2 weeks and have been finalized at my check up appointment. The lady doesn't seem to understand the clariti multifocal contacts lenses are a old design and different from the clariti multifocal 3 add design that I have been wearing since I came in on the first appointment. Refused to fix the issue and has an attitude. I called corporate to try and fix the issue and get my correct Rx that I paid for.

If I could give you zero stars, I would! Banning an entire family for poor customer on your part is obscene and ignorant. Next time, learn maybe that customer service is part of your job, even as a Dr office. Try harder...
