I was seen on April 30 by Dr Ahearn she was okay, but she told me there was a 90 day warranty, wrong. I picked up my glasses on May 9th and informed them on May 16th I could not see out of the glasses. I was told by the guy at the optical desk this was because of them being lined bifocals and not progressive lens, but since my insurance didn't cover progressive lens the only thing they would do for me was put me in tri-focals. I told the guy at the optical desk I had never been able to wear lined bifocals and what good would lined tri-focals do for me. So, I did tell him absolutely not on the lined tri-focals, because it was a waste of time. I will be very honest it should be a part of my record that I have problems with lined bifocals as many times as I talked to Dr. Wolber about it and had gotten repeated pairs of progressive lens. However, the last several pairs of glasses so that Wolber wrote scripts for had to be returned because his scripts were bad. Wolber would have to reexamine my eyes every time and would come up with a different script. So it would not surprise me that it is not in my record about my problems with the lined bifocals. My insurance is MO Medicaid, so I placed a call to them today to see if they were actually ordered by the doctor if they would have covered them. They where going to look into things and get back to me.I have a rare genetic condition, and one of the problems a person with my condition can have is problems with lined bifocals, but this place has proven time and time again they know absolutely nothing about hypermobile Ehlers-danlos Syndrome. I was even more or less called a liar by one of their ophthalmologist about having light glare problems, last time I seen him. It is too late for this pair of glasses, and it will be 2 years before I can get new. So, I will deal with the eye strain for 2 years. As far as my eye care and hypermobile Ehlers-danlos, I will start seeking care at Washington U in St Louis. I will not darken HQ eyes doorstep again.

This clinic is so different than most I've been to. The wait time was very short. Dr. Monroe is an outstanding doctor. She doesn't rush and really seems to care about the person she's treating.. the staff is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Dr. Munch is great! My daughter and I both had appointments but my little guy also tagged along with us. My son is three and wants to do everything like his big sis, so when her appointment was done, he jumped into the chair and said me, me, me! Dr. Munch was so sweet to just briefly look at him even though I'm sure he had patients after us. Just knowing he cares so much about making my children happy as well as the excellent care, we are so happy to find him!

I have been a patient of Dr Wolber's since 2005. I was born with severe Myopia, and had history a of Retinal tears. I have 4 children and 3 are Nearsighted as well, my eyes needed extra special attention and 1 of my kids did as well. Dr Wolber is one of the best Dr.s I have ever been to in this area! His special attention to details, and making sure you understand what is going on with your eyes . Making himself available, even after hours and on weekends!! Dr. Wolber has put my family members at the top of his list!!! (At least that is how he has made each of feel! ) Dr. Wolber was highly recommended to me by my Opthalmologist of 28 yrs. as the only EYE DR. Allowed to touch my eyes. As Dr Wolber was the only one qualified to deal with all my eye issues. (Outside of going to St Louis) We love our Dr Wolber!!

Great experience. Traveling through the area by RV - needed my eyes checked for redness. Front desk was welcoming, helpful, and got me an appointment quickly. The nurse was efficient and thorough. Dr. Ahearn was excellent - answered all my questions, helped me to understand what my situation was, and prescribed eye drops as a preventative measure. She calmed my fears, was empathetic and reassuring. And we were back on our way quickly.

I was a new patient and was treated extremely well. I will definitely be back. They diagnosed me immediately, when I had 3 other optometrist tell me different diseases. It was wonderful getting answers and quickly resolving them.

Dr. Ahearn is amazing! She's very thorough, efficient and incredibly knowledgeable! My entire family goes to her and we couldn't be more thrilled to have found her. Thank you Dr. Ahearn!
