I really wanted to like Dr. Steel's office! My first time visiting, they were pleasant and friendly. That all changed when I went to pick up my prescription glasses. Unfortunately, the glasses are not correct and the staff treated me like I was some kind of bad guy. They told me "I just needed to get used them and that they couldn't help me today." They were rude and unfriendly. Seriously, I walked out of there thinking that I had caused a great injustice by the way they were treating me and made me feel. It's a two hour trip for me, I didn't expect to be treated so poorly by doctor Steele's staff, not to be confused with the Costco staff. So discouraged!!!

The staff & Dr. Steele was so kind, professional, knowlegeable and made sure I was comfortable with my prescription, asked me questions that made a difference without rushing me on anything. Now I can see into the future..lol or Mars :)

I had my annual eye exam this year (2023) with Dr. Steele. He was charming, affable, funny, and explained everything far better than any Eye Doctor that I have seen previously. I've only been here once, and that's too many times. Ever since I got my prescription here my vision up close (I'm near sighted) is awful. The Dr claimed my prescription strength went lower and said I couldn't see as well up close cause of my age (again, he claimed my vision needed a lower strength after 40 years). I've never had this issue before. Dr Steele encouraged me to try out single vision (which sounds ridiculous to me) and said I'll need reading glasses.
I've come to believe I just wasted hundreds of dollars due to this issue.
I can't recommend enough not to go here.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Steele now for about seven years. He is an outstanding doctor. He has helped us through some tricky diagnosis for my daughter (which is now all corrected), as well as my wife and I as our eyesight changes, he always has a good solution for us. Additionally, he guided my wife through an eye disease she had, by referring her to a specialist and coordinating with that specialist so that he could be part of her treatment plan. Again, all resolved. This was a big relief!!!
In addition to being highly competent, he and his staff are also friendly, personable, and helpful. I highly recommend this practice.
