Leticia was very helpful with choosing my glasses finding the best fit for me. Also the best price. Explained everything along the way. Dr Loughman also very good with answering all my questions. He took my questions seriously and took his time

I had worn glasses for poor vision since I was in the first grade. About 8 years ago, at the age of 71, Dr. Blacklock did lens implants for me and my vision has been near perfect ever since. Couldn't recommend her more highly than five stars or I would have.

Somers Eye Center is fabulous! So thorough and they do not rush you through any part of your appointment. Everyone is extremely friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this practice!!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Blacklock last week and was very impressed. She was detailed with her assessment of my unique eye issue, but also very efficient with my time. And on top of this she is a wonderful person! I live about 30 minutes away from her office, but my entire family will be seeing her for all major eye issues going forward.

Dr Blacklock did a great job with my cataract surgery! Restored me to perfect vision with no complications. She is such a kind and caring person as well. Front desk staff are just so nice and helpful as well. Will definitely highly recommended to family and friends.

Dr. Blacklock performed Cataract surgery on both my eyes. The outcome was perfect, I now see 20/20 with great clarity. Dr. Blacklock is obviously a skilled Dr. and eye surgeon.....But her Kindness and patience is what sets her apart. I am her patient for life and recommend her most highly.....

So I was sorely in need of an eye exam as my previous optometrist had retired several years ago and I hadn't gotten around to finding a new doctor. Fortunately a friend, newly retired from the industry, gave me a few names to research. Ironically, Dr. Blacklock's office was the last one mentioned as it was much farther away from my home base. A little mixup resulted in my appointment being "cancelled" inadvertently. While I was willing to make the trek up to her office another day, after mentioning my disappointment and the distance traveled, they made accommodations to get me on the schedule so a second trip wasn't needed. I was very pleased with the office staff, their personable nature and professionalism. Dr. Blacklock did an excellent job examining my eyes, answering my questions, and getting me set-up for next year's follow-up appointment.
