I generally get great service here. I got tremendous service today. The optometrist, Dr. Kahn (sp?), was so professional. I have problem eyes and she took care of them, she gave me good news . The woman who took my glasses order was great as well. They give 2 pairs of glasses for one low price.
Don't waste your time and money here. There's a lot of bait and switch on pricing.
They didn't get my lenses right and told me my prescription changed so that's why the new ones are not working, WHAT?!?! I didn't come to get glasses that were blurry. I only came in because my old glasses were getting old and scratched but they are in focus better than the new ones I got here. The new pair of glasses I've had for four weeks and they're already fallen apart. My last quality pair are four years old and it's the only pair I have. The two women that I dealt with were pretty unhelpful and full of excuses. Save yourself a lot of time and money and just go to a quality optometrist
Stacey at the Crestwood location is absolutely amazing! She's incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about her customers. I used to dread going to the eye doctor, but not anymore. If you're looking for someone who will actually listen and help you see better, go to America's Best and ask for Stacey. She's a game-changer!
Horrible service. The Doctor was very rude, very unprofessional for absolutely no reason. I understand that everyone have they days, but the doctor looked at us with disgust. I will never be back here ever again, and I'll be sure to let everyone know about my experience.
I never leave reviews, ever. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had. The doctor was short, rude, and did not listen to anything I was saying. I am 42 years old, & was talked to as if I wasn't worth her time & was a complete inconvenience. She said that she couldn't help me, and sent me on my way. The tech that I was sent out to was even worse. She spoke for the doctor, saying that I didn't qualify for the contact exam I requested. And told me that bc I was "older" this was the "best I was gonna get" as far as my prescription. This is after speaking down to me, pausing for long periods of time, to express disgust, etc. I went to a different eye place today, and was told exactly what I thought....i didn't need any special things done, just a standard exam. And that was it. There is as patience, communication, & great service. Unlike this train wreck of an office.
I work customer service everyday, and I cant imagine doing what just happened to me. It's even worse coming from a medical professional. I will absolutely steer clear of this place, the doctor, the receptionist, & will continue to let others around me know of this experience. It was just wrong in every way. I genuinely hope either one of them loose their jobs
I came in for my daughter's appointment and first experience getting glasses. Well it was completely terrible. The front desk gals were awesome though. They let my kids draw and color. When we went back for the exam the lady didn't start testing my daughter so we just kind of sat there. She asked why I brought her in so young. I said well she is 5 and her kindergarten nurse did a test and she got 20/40 in one eye. They recommended we take here in to America's Best. She then said they don't help kids her age. I was confused because her birthday date is on the paperwork for her appointment. She seemed like she didn't want to help my daughter. It's hard for me to think that they don't help kids considering they sell kid glasses. So when I left I called another location and they said they DO exams for all ages and they booked me an appointment at the other location. I ended up going to a different local Dr. ROSEN OPTOMETRY because they were friendly and very kid friendly. I happily gave them my money. OH and as a Store Manager of 6 years. I would be happy to offer some lessons on how to be personable and how to speak with customer's of ALL ages and RACES instead of letting a client walk out the door.
Always a good price and quality. Only one gripe. They seem to rush to the next customer, and that makes the prescription off for me, never really perfect-I am autistic and can tell the prescription is not a hole in one.
Everyone else is probably perfect and really this place is good. They have a doctor the Did Actually Save My Life. Basically she mentioned a possible growth behind my eye. Which was then true. I had 5 tumors visible on a MRI. MORE NOT SEEN. Non-Hodgkins Primary CNS B-Cell Lymphoma. Pretty bad. If I had not seen that Doctor and she was not so good. I'D BE DEAD. Good doctors there Everyone. Company just seems to rush. But really, good store, good price and good deal. Go for it. I'm alive.
I have been going to this America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses
store since 1992. I have always worn contact lenses. Yesterday I went in for new contacts. I only wanted contacts. I had an eye infection in my right eye because I need new contact. The Doctor refused to prescribe me new contacts and she turned the exam into a medical exam. I was charged $75 for an exam that I did not want. They never have my contacts in stock and I always have to wait a week for them to come in. I want my money back. I should have left as soon as the doctor told me that she would not sell me new contacts. I paid for service that I did not receive and want my money back.
