I have been a patient of Dr. Selliyan for several years and I have been very pleased with the quality of his care. I recently had cataract surgery, and I have been very happy with the results. Dr. Selliyan answered any questions I had, I felt comfortable going into surgery, and I'm happy with the results. Awhile back when I had an eye infection, I was able to get an appointment quickly and Dr. Selliyan provided successful treatment before it turned into something worse. I highly recommend Dr. Selliyan because of the professional care I have received.

Dr. Selliyan did my cataract surgeries and I couldn't be more pleased. I had a great improvement in my vision the next day with both eyes. There was absolutely no discomfort whatsoever throughout the entire process.

I had to have cataract surgery after surgery to repair a partially detached retina created a cataract. I have heard how cataract surgery is so easy, but I am relatively young for needing it and I was nervous. Dr Selliyan put me right at ease. The surgery and recovery were a breeze and I am back to 20/20 vision. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing eye care!

After noticing my eyesight was worsening I made an appointment with Dr. Selliyan. So glad I did. He discovered my cataracts. A year ago when I saw a different eye care provider, he said nothing about cataracts and I had it then also. Early September I had cataracts removal surgery on my left eye. Two weeks later he did my right eye. My insurance covered it. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes and couldn't be happier! It was by far the easiest surgery and recovery I've ever experienced. Dr. Selliyan and his staff were great! I highly recommend them!

Bottom Line Up Front: I would, without a doubt, recommend Dr. Selliyan to anyone who is looking for an ophthalmologist. I have been going to South County Eye Care for years. I am a diabetic and would not trust my eyes with anyone else. Dr. Becker was patient and kind. He always had time to listen to my concerns. Everything that was great in Dr. Becker (he retired) is also great in Dr. Selliyan. I recently had cataracts removed and he went out of his way to reassure me that the procedures would be quick (10 Minutes) and I wouldn't feel a thing (I didn't). The staff was incredibly helpful, explaining what the insurance would cover, what the aftercare instructions would be and were patient with me during my follow-up visits

Dr. Selliyan is not only a skilled eye professional but also compassinate; combining skill, communication, and personal qualities like empathy and diligence. His attention and thoroughness is matched by his ability to explain. My eyesight is of utmost importance to me and I feel like Dr. Selliyan recognizes that. I was extremely nervous to submit to caterac surgery but I was delighted by the results and grateful for his expertise.
