Very quick and easy! The staff had my history in mind when working with me, and they all seemed so knowledgeable. So polite and friendly too! Also, thank you for recycling contact lens cases!

I've been going to Dr. Tubbs for 14 years, and he's still the best. Super friendly and patient, and he always remembers me. The rest of the staff is always friendly and helpful as well.

I developed an eye infection (I have toddlers and my son pokes me endlessly, not saying it's his fault but iykyk). I cold called a few eye clinics, Clarkson Eyecare on Chippewa was able to offer me a same day appointment. Dr. Tubbs was so helpful and efficient. He thoroughly explained my issue and got me on my way. As a very 'don't touch my eyeballs' person I felt very supported! My eye is on the mend!

Dr. Tubbs is the best optometrist in the St. Louis area. He's been apart of my care team for nearly 8 years and counting. Clarkson is known for having a location around every corner and though I could choose any of the 15+ along the way, this office is worth passing other locations. His staff is always kind regardless of how often there are new employees it speaks volumes to see the one thing every staff member has in common, Dr. Cody Tubbs creates a culture you want to be apart of.

The St. Louis Hills Clarkson Eyecare has been amazing. Dr. Tubbs has been great with the whole family including young kids. The staff always helps me sort through my confusing vision insurance to pay a fraction of full price!

Dr. Tubbs was great. The lady with long dark hair was a nightmare. After the exam which included my eyes getting dilated she had me sit at her computer typed in a bunch of stuff and told me out of pocket would be over $400. My Insurance cover $275 for eye glasses. She never asked what lenses I wanted or any of the extras you can get on your glasses. Never had me look at frames. When I questioned her about it she started showing me on her computer screen everything she put down for my glasses. When I told her I can't see it because my eyes got dilated she just looked at me like I had 3 heads. She wouldn't take the time to explain anything to me, even when I told her that what she was telling me didn't make sense with what my insurance covers. That sent me into a panick attack and I had to run out of the store. Dr. Tubbs was great. If you suffer from anxiety/ panick attacks do not let the long dark haired lady help you. This was the WORST experience in my life in regards to getting glasses. I ran out of the store and had to call my husband and have him come there so he could go in the store and get my prescription. I will never go there again.

Dr. Tubbs is the BEST! Very thorough and so personable. He remembers my boys from when they were young and now they're 29 and 27. He is an excellent doctor!
