I recently switched Eyecare providers and began seeing Gallanis. In two visits I have been extremely satisfied with their service. I am seeing Dr. Barlow, a very knowledgeable and personable ophthalmologist. And huge kudos to Jan, one of the staff assistants who saw me first today. What a pro! I highly recommend gallanis Cataract and Laser Center.

Never thought of visiting a cataract and laser vision center for a routine eye exam, but Galanis was on the list my insurance covered, and I was leary of visiting the chain eye centers that made up most of the rest of the list. Given the amount of doctors at Galanis I was able to get a next day appointment, and the receptionist even pre-approved my insurance coverage over the Source.
The office is very nice, with a convenient location in the Dierbergs McKenzie Point shopping center, and everyone is super nice.
Dr. Sorce was professional but friendly and easy to talk with, and he didn't rush my exam. Instead, he took time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my eyes and vision changes. It was the best doctor visit I've had in a long time.
I highly recommend Galanis, especially Dr. Sorce.

The person who answers the phone is rude. Cuts you off when you are asking a question, talks over you, and then hangs up abruptly without even a word when she decides she's done with the call. I'll be looking for a new office.

This is one of the best medical practices I have ever been to. They are all very helpful, efficient, and friendly. They make you feel like you are an important part of the healthcare team, and encourage you to ask questions.
I had never seen what my retina looks like, pretty interesting. I asked what Retinosa Pigmentosa looks like, a condition my brother has, and they pulled up an image and explained it. I wish I could get my brother to move his files, but he wants to stick with his grumpy, non-communicative eye doctor.
I disagree with some of the previous posts that said they are slow. They do have a very busy practice, but they seem well staffed, and always get to me very quickly. If you are having your eyes dilated, it takes a while for the drops to take effect, so that could add to the perception of a "long wait".

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Roberta Crawford, O.D. for a follow-up eye exam and I must say it was a great experience from start to finish. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right away. During the exam, Doctor Crawford was extremely thorough and took the time to answer my questions and concerns. I appreciated how they explained everything in detail and made sure I understood what was going on. I never felt rushed or like I was just another patient. Overall, I highly recommend The Galanis Cataract & Lazer Center for anyone in need of eye concerns.

I rarely post reviews but if anyone is seeking quality eye care then I highly recommend Galanis Cataract and Laser Center. I've been going to this office for several years despite the distance to the office from my home and I've found it to be a welcoming and organized office that is dedicated to taking care of my "aging" eyes. I see Dr. Galanis and he is truly an eye care professional who is willing to take the time to address any questions I might have about my eyes. I've had no complaints or bad experiences at all.

I had a surgery scheduled and they made us wait 2 hours . They are constantly late seeing me on my appointments they tell me to arrive 15 mins early for my appointment but then make me wait to be seen for hours it is unacceptable and I will be changing my eye doctor to BjC location. They want you to respect their time but constantly disrespecting their patients time!
