he and his staff have been taking care of my glasses and general eye health for more than a decade now. I was willing to drive 45 mins when I lived in north county. Highly recommended optometrist.

Doctor Lucas is a good guy, and he does his job well, but his front of house staff are some of the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of being around. The woman behind the counter has been straight-up belittling every time I've had to deal with her. Brace yourself if you choose this place for your eye care needs.

I had the best experience at Lucas Optometry. Dr. Lucas does an outstanding job taking the time to listen and actually wants to do what is best for you. His staff was also great and were able to get me in on short notice. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a new eye doctor!!!

I've never been shown more respect and care about my vision until Dr. Lucas. I'm new to the area and took a chance with only internet reviews, hoping for a positive experience, as I have several ocular issues. Dr. Lucas is not only incredibly thorough and professional, but immensely knowledgeable and patient with even his new patients on day 1! I'm so relieved to have a good optometrist to recommend. Would recommend new patients to him hand over fist.

I googled the nearest Optometry center near me and found Dr. Lucas. I was in town for an event and needed to go see an eye doctor due to some swelling due to me being careless and having an object directly impacting my eye. Even though they are booked many months in advanced since I had an emergency they did schedule me in right away. I could not have been more happy with this doctor. He is so caring and knowledgable and it's a huge difference when you see a doctor that actually cares VS a doctor going through the motions. Dr. Lucas genuinely cares about his patients and that' is so rare. What a gem! I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Before Lucas Optometry, I had only been to Sam's Club and Walmart optical departments. It was all routine. Go in, get an exam, get glasses or contacts. I never expected my optometrist to actually care about me as a person. At Lucas Optometry you'll feel right at home with people that actually care. Totally cheesy, I know, but it's makes a huge difference. As long as this practice is open, I'll never go anywhere else for contacts or glasses. Dr. Lucas was also great at explaining what he was doing during the exam and why he was doing it--a perk for the medically curious.

I've worn glasses for nearly 30 years. Lucas is simply the best optometrist I've encountered. My whole family goes through them. They listen and work through any health issues. Strongly recommend.

Dr. Lucas is outstanding, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I have been going to him for various years. His eye exam is extremely thorough. Fortunate to have found him!
