Buy your glasses somewhere else!!! DO NOT spend any extra money for their warranty. Their warranty is a LIE!!! You will still have to pay to replace the frame/lense ($25 per lense) and a percentage of the value of your frame. They also don't record the warranty work you had done based upon your policy. Not all insurance policies are the same! Mine included new prescriptions! Whose the real liar? I want my warranty money refunded! I went down the street and purchased a new pair of glasses at a high end boutique. Their glasses cost no more, actually less since it included a full 2 year warranty for both the frame and the lenses. I can see on other posts Mercy tries to defend themselves. Don't bother... your poor rating everyone can see, speaks for itself!

I will always get my eyes checked here! I wish Dr. Green did not go PRN! He was my person :) Other doctors have been great. Like any other eye place, there will be a wait, so don't let the one stars and frustration of others discourage you. You can go right down stairs and pick out your glasses and contacts!

I booked an appointment for my daughter and I. We were there for the initial appointment for over 2 hours- almost 3. We had to go back for a contact follow up and we were there for almost 2 hours again. For a follow up contact appointment. The optometrist was rude and was not pleasant to talk to. The front desk staff was so-so. They seemed annoyed while talking to me, but they did their job. The only saving grace of this establishment was the wonderful woman who helped my daughter learn how to put her contacts in. She was patient and kind and so helpful. 2 months later I am still waiting for the contacts to arrive. Update: called and spoke with someone and they "reordered." I believe they just never put the order in in the first place, but the woman I spoke to was friendly and kind and gave her a new pair of trial contacts to get her by until the new ones come in. Needless to say, after we get these contacts, we will never be back.

I brought my now 3 year old here for glasses last year and they were great. This year, it was not a good experience for several reasons: 1. I brought my son to be fitted for new glasses in 12/2021. After waiting a while for the person helping us to find frames for him to try on, we chose some and tried to pay. We were informed our insurance provider wouldn't cover frames until 1/2022 and to just call to pay for them by phone at that time. That way fine, no big deal. We chose the frames and had him measured so that I could get them in January when they'd be covered. I called on 1/2/2022 to pay and after waiting on hold for literally 30 minutes, was told my insurance only covered frames every other year and I'd have to pay out of pocket. I wasn't told this originally and could've just paid out of pocket at our original visit. 2. I was told his glasses would come in 7-10 days. I completely understand covid is delaying everything right now but after 2 weeks, I wasn't contacted about any progress. I didn't get a call about his glasses being in for 3 weeks. 3. I took my son to pick up his glasses yesterday. The receptionist never greeted us so i just signed in on the clipboard. After 10 minutes, I approached the desk and asked if I needed to sign in since we weren't getting a fitting and just needed to pick up glasses we'd already paid for. I didn't know if we needed to keep waiting on an actual optometrist or if we could collect the glasses and leave. The receptionist had a very rude tone and told me that I needed to wait for an optometrist and as I walked away she said "if that's OK with you....". I wasn't rude at all up until that point I just genuinely didn't know how the process worked. 4. Finally after waiting for close to 40 minutes we got his glasses and left. I'll be looking elsewhere next year. We drive nearly an hour from home to come here because my son's eye doctor recommended it but after this experience, we won't be back.

Been going to Mercy Eye Care for years because the eye specialists at the facility are skilled and friendly. Spent a few thousand dollars (easily) there over last 10 years. Contacts still not ready after 7 days of waiting. No firm delivery date, still. Then they told me 2 more weeks for a fitting (if I'm lucky). Can't see anything due to backup glasses, and staff provided zero sense of urgency. Generally a disappointing encounter - that remains ongoing. Should not take 4+ weeks to get a replacement contact from a long-standing service provider. Feel like I will be reviewing the same story a third time when I call the staff back for an update Friday.

Every time I go to this place there is an issue. We always end up waiting 30-40 mins for someone to help us, even though this last time we were the first on the list. My one son's frames were on back order so they were supposed to get a temporary. Three weeks later still hadn't heard anything so I called the office only to be told it would be another 2 weeks for his frames to be in. When I asked about the temporary frames, she thought he already had them. Obviously there is a communication issue within this office. Each time I talk to someone, I get a different answer. This is now the third time we have had issues, so I will be looking for a new place next year.

The wait time in here even when you're an established patient is ridiculous!! They book way too many people for what they can handle . So irritating !!! Do better !! Been here for over and hour as I'm typing this !!!
